I have put a new battery in it, new plugs gapped correctly, new plug wires, new air filter, cleaned MAF with MAF cleaner, checked all lines I can reach and see, Cleaned the throttle body and IAC, Put a new PCV valve, I am next considering a fuel pump since there is not a filter. The car runs fine if you hold your foot on the accelerator. It has a code of P0300 that keeps coming up as well.

It has two codes p0300 and p0300 with a symbol. It does not smoke or overheat. I put a new air Cleaner and I started it while the cover was off and it Idled, but whe I put it back it died. Any ideas?

It has a 327 in it and has not been ran on @ 30 years. Needs restored. Very minimul rust. Was parked and interior was disassembled for reworking and never complete. Vin indicates it is a V8 car. Everything seems to be there. It has been covered an sheltered the entire time. Has electric windows. No dents, top is shot but the rails and every thing look fine. I am going to put the car up for sale soon and I want a fair price.

I have a 1964 Oldsmobile with very low milage and It has been stored for a long time (@14 years) and not started for this time. I want to start it and use it for a local event and then pass it to someplace that will appriciate it and I have had many suggestions from freinds like using brake fluid and ATF in the cylinders to Rebuilding the entire engine right off. This is the second round for this question but I would like some feedback from this for a compilation of info might help.

I bought this and it has 28,753 miles original and has been in storage since 1992 and last started around 1997. I want to keep it all original and don't want motor opened. It is an unmolested car that looks like new. I don't want to hurt it by not lubing the cylinders or taking care starting it. I want to be able to drive it to the local car show this year then possibly donate to museum, or collection

I have a 1989 Ford escort with a 1.9L CFI motor. It is a great gas saver to go back and forth to work. The problem is, It does not want to start when it is cold at approx. 38 degrees it will not start. Normally you can hear the fuel pump when you start it, But I could not hear it come on when you try and start it in the cold. I have done alot to it over the last year, tune up, tires, module on distributor, coolant flush, Temp sensor, O2 sensor. prior to that it had been sitting for 3 years. I know it is old but I really like this car, and it saves the miles on my new car. Plus cheap on Gas. Any Ideas?

I would like to insulate but we are on a tight budget. I really do not want to mess up the siding or the walls inside too much. I heat with wood and gas and electricity. depending on costs. I replaced most of the windows with new vinyl insulated windows. I really want to cut heating costs even more. Any suggestions?
