  • A rainstorm in Portland wiped out the electricity in 10% of the households in the city.?

Suppose that a random sample of 80 Portland households is taken after the rainstorm.

Estimate the number of households in the sample that lost electricity by giving the mean of the relevant distribution (that is, the expectation of the relevant random variable). Do not round your response.

Quantify the uncertainty of your estimate by giving the standard deviation of the distribution. Round your response to at least three decimal places.

  • Why did God allow slavery and the Holocaust?

I have heard different preachers address this issue, but I'm curious to hear other responses. I'm working with my church youth group for our Black History program, and the issue has come up.

  • Question 1 Can my credit card keep charging fees after they closed my account? 2-Can I stop the calls?

Aspen charged their annual fee to my account- this was my first year with them and i was not expecting the charge- this fee put me over the limit and they automatically closed my account, which was previously in good standing.

Can they continue to charge me the annual fee, overlimit fees, and late charges even though the account is closed and there has been no activitiy on it.

In addition, I informed them that I was disputing the fees and I wanted it reviewed, however, they continue to add late and overlimit fees. They closed the account in December. I disputed the charges in December. They have charged me fees for December, January, and February.

Also, they call me everyday--SEVERAL times a day. How can I stop them from calling?

  • He loves me, but I don't love him, can I build a marriage on that what's love got to do with it?

I was married for 12 years, now I'm divorced. I met a man who is very solid and stable. He's a little older than I am and has no children. I have 2. He loves me and wants to get married. I don't love him, but i still think he's a good candidate for marriage. Should I be emotional and wait for love or should I view it as a business decision and take this opportunity?
