started last week when truck would cut off on me a few times, it would start back up after a few minutes or sometimes after i pushed it a few feet. I realized the distributor cap was loose. It ran good for a few days after i fixed this with no problems

Parked it one night and next morning it would turn over but not start. installed fuel filter(for some odd reason the previous owner removed it and didnt replace? Replaced coil, dist. cap, plugs, wires, rotor button, and ign. module. Still nothing, let it sit for two days then it fired up but ran rough like timing was off. I thought maybe the engine had gotten flooded and i messed up the timing replacing parts.

It would not start later that day so i gave up and pushed it to the repair shop accross the street told him the timing was off. He called me later today and told me it needs a motor that something is wrong with one of the cylinders.

im going to get a second opinion tommorow is he trying to rip me off or could this be a possibility?

any idea what could be wrong?

Don't know many details about either vehicle just trying to sell the motor... the f250 had a 460 in it before.

truck was running wierd, had a little bit hesitation when i first got on the road, was about 40 degrees outside... temperature gauge was saying it was hot but not warm enough to produce any kind of heat through vents when i turned the heat on.

put a little antifreeze in just to be safe and the engine did not feel warmer then it normally gets. drove about 15 more miles gauge stayed close to hot mostly the whole time, truck barely got warm enough to defog the windshield by the time i got home which also seems unusual?

any idea what could be causing all of this? i never had problems with it in the cold weather before

tried to start alternator was smoking probly needs a starter also im going to pull them and test them soon. noticed the belt/pulleys will turn by hand i was told by a neighbor that indicates the motor needs to be rebuilt but a mechic told me that the engines on vw beetle are typically easy to turn. im not used to this type of motor. anyone know if this is true or not?

For starters the car is missing a battery so i was attempting to jump it by hooking hooking jumper cables to battery from my other car to the battery connections on the vw. Im am mechanically inclined but not very knowledgeable when it comes to cars I don't know if this is causing the problem to begin with? First time i hooked it up just left the battery in the car and hooked up jumper cables did not notice alternator smoking then... The second time i had to remove the battery cause i couldn't pull up next to it, I noticed the smell of it smoking pretty quickly.

Im assuming it needs a starter or the old one is rusted stuck, when i turn the key to start it nothing happens at all but everything else has power and i dont think a bad alternator would cause that. The car has been sitting for atleast 8 months any other ideas on what could be going wrong?

i could only find a weight on one website and it said around 8,000 lbs. This one is rusted out and were planning on taking it in for scrap normally we would cut it up and take it in but this thing is a monster im thinking about renting a flatbed if it is 8,000 it would be worth it. The cooling coil and somekind of box with all the controls has been removed but they probobly werent any more then 500 lbs

been having problems for a while with the truck stalling sometimes when i change gears to reverse or or neutral and occasionally when i come to a stop. it wasn't a big deal but has been getting worse and now i keep getting stuck because the truck wont start..It cranks but wont quite start up.

The first time it happened was about 2 weeks ago wouldn't start for a few days. my mechanic checked it out said he thought it was the timing chain, then it started the next day.

He said something about the distributer cap was loose while it was running and if he clamped it back on tight it wouldn't start. Got it back he said he adjusted the timing( which he said was 25% off) fixed the connection for the ignition module and i drove it about 15 miles it ran well, parked it started up the next day then after coming out of home depot it wouldn't start again.... I let it sit for a day(today) a friend of mine tried to start it he turned the ac on pumped the gas a bunch and it finally started ran ok drove it to parking garage and it stalled and wouldn't start again..

The battery is good, the starter, starter solenoid, spark plugs, plug wires, rotor, and ignition module have all been replaced this past year.

We checked it to make sure it was getting gas and its getting spark. It also smells like gas the times when it wont start up...

Any ideas on what could be wrong with this darn truck would be greatly appreaciated

It was running good, a while back on a cold morning it struggled to start and the battery was too low to turn over again so i tried to jumpstart it and now nothing on the bike will get power from the battery even after removing it and charging it. Ive checked all the fuses, I am mechanically inclined just dont know much about bikes yet...Any ideas on what could be the problem?

I think the one i have is chrome plated brass?

Before I start let me just say that this is all really crazy, has gone way too far more then u can even imagine please no negative comments about me or her any advice on what i should do is appreciated.

They have been dating for 3 years, ive known that I really liked her for at least 2 she has known for a long time ive told her, everyone else in our small group of friends is probably aware of it by now. They have always seemed like an odd couple they fight all the time about really stupid crap and I cant stand it. I no longer value his friendship any more he hasn't changed a bit since high school 22 years old and still a spoiled brat has no responsibility at all and has some kind of attitude like he cant do anything wrong. Me and her started hanging out a lot about a 18 months ago, things like going to the gym together, and hanging out at her moms house. He doesn't want to do much of anything besides hangout in his parents basement. I have never tried to do anything with her not even a little peck on the cheek even though i really want to.

Her mother has mental health issues and she was having a lot of trouble living with her, they are now doing a lot better maybe cause there not living together. She did not want to live with her bf causes hes too clingy he gets really upset when she wants to go out and do things with other people and she doesn't like his parents cause they treat them both like there little kids.

I just thought if i treated her right made her laugh and did a few nice things for her along the way maybe she would start to feel the same way about me.I own my own home and had 2 spare rooms, she asked if she could come stay with me and of course i said yes, this was january of this year. We have been living together since then with no problems of any kind we never argue or fight about anything we both like a lot of the same things. I feel like the more time i spend with her the more i fall in love I just know i could spend the rest of my life with her. Her mother, her pastor, and a few other adults in her life tell her shes in an abusive relationship and she should be with me I think she is mostly afraid of hurting her bf too much.

She tells me she loves me and wants to be "friends forever" but everyone knows a guy and a girl cant be just friends. She often complains about her bf and has now broken up and gotten back together with him twice. I got really upset the last time she did it cause she told me she was going to do it and started acting like she wanted to be with me.

I have told her how i feel she knows im crazy about her... she tells me that im the best friend she has ever had and she values our friendship too much that being more then friends is too risky. I really love having her around and i really care about her but living with her is sometimes making me miserable as "just friends" . Should i continue being patient and try to win her over or tell her she has to move out not see her any more and try to move on

seems to run great up to 6 rpms which isn't much on a bike..... anything higher than that it hesitates a ton and tries to cut off but if i change to a higher gear it keeps going fine.... also have had proboblems with the battery dying as im riding happened about 3 times this summer battery is only 8 months old about 8,000 miles on it bike has 12,000

I am trying to buy a home in Maryland I was approved for a loan and put a contract on the home sometime around 2/10. The settlement date was set for 4/3(this friday!). It states on the letter from the lender that

"The applicant has been approved by Chase Home Mortgage to purchase a property with the sales price of $91,000. It is our intention to provide a conventional mortgage for 90% of the contract sales price or appraised value whichever is less. Applicant's credit, income, and assets have been reviewed and meet all program requirements. This approval is not contingent on the sale or settlement of any other real estate.

conditions:

Satisfactory appraisal of subject property

telephone re-verification of employment 24 hours prior to settlement."

Now 4 days before settlement the lender is telling me that 10% of the mortgage has to be insured by one of the major mortgage companies(in 2 months he failed to mention this) Apparently none of these mortgage companies are willing to insure this 10% even though chase says my credit is good enough to give me the loan.(ive been with my parents my whole life all my bills except my credit card, (car insurance, cell phone) are part of somekind of family plan so i pay my parents for them. This is not enough credit for them so now im being told I can't get this loan without putting 20% down which i do not have. Is there any legal actions I can take in this matter? Maybe force Chase to insure the whole loan since they approved 90% of the loan? Is that possible? Also I have already paid 400$ for the appraisal I would like to get that back but i dont think its worth hiring a lawyer for. Are there any govt. organizations that exist to deal with lenders like this that might make this go away? Any suggestions that might help are welcome.

home in Maryland, forclosure, needs work on the market at 29,900 i have 5 grand to put down on the house, its been a while but last time i checked they were asking for 10% on a conventional loan. Is it possible to get a mortgage on a property this low or would you have to pay for the whole thing?

1989 subaru justy gl 3 cylinder the old fuel filter was filled with a rust colored liquid is it just because the darn thing hasn't been replaced in so long or could there be something wrong with the fuel pump or the tank?

Is this mistake hurting my credit score? How could they have missed this? How do i fix this?

Im currently in the proccess of buying a home (first time homebuyer), the lot is half an acre which is a lot larger then the others i was looking at but its a great deal and a better neighborhood. I know i will be able to afford my mortgage, gas, food, all the essentials like that but with not having much experience of living away from my parents i have a feeling that money will be somewhat tight untill i figure out how to deal manage it really well. I own a pushmower but i dont want to fork over the money for a riding mower. I dont have the energy to mow a lot after work but i probobly could suck it up and do it. Should I rent a room cheap or maybe free to a freind but tell them they must to mow the grass every week? Buy a riding mower? or just use my pushmower and maybe do half of it a day?

1995 nissan pickup 4 cylinder, had to put new plugs and wires in about 3 months ago, it runs great, much better gas mileage but idles roughly once the engine warms up. Is it my plugs is it more likely that its something else.

When i was young and had my first loose tooth I was telling my dad about it and he jokingly said "well yank it out". And well after playing with it for a while I did. I continued to do that with all my teeth, my brother and my sister both let theres come out naturally. As teenagers they both had big problems and required braces, my teeth were and still are perfect. Has anyone else ever seen this happen? Is it logical that pulling teeth when they become loose helps the adult teeth come in correctly?

2 lower wisdom teeth seem to be at war with the rest of my mouth.... the pain is pretty bad just curious what this is gonna cost me.
