  • Alicante to Barcelona?

I am going on holiday in June and are planning to travel from Alicante to Barcelona in the car, I was wondering if any one had any tips of where to stay, we dont want to book anything before we get there and was just wondering how easy it is to just turn up and book something.

Also just wanted some ideas of where to aim for and where to avoid, we want to go to the coast and want to go to places that are not too over developed and where i can practice my Spanish!!

    Thanks

  • Retro liverpool shirts?

I am trying to get hold of a retro 1988/89 Liverpool home red candy shirt.

I'm really struggling to find this shirt, I think it was a one off, but my boyfriend wants it - it was his first shirt.

I have managed to find some but they are over £100 and I really want something slightly cheaper than that.

    Thanks

  • Baby P - How could we have stopeed it!?

It has come out the Peter Connolly's (sorry for spelling) mother had a pretty terrible upbringing, her father was a paedophile she was abused by him.

How was she going to know how to raise a child in an appropriate manner she had little help herself.

So does this mean that the victims of child abuse and traumatising childhood experiences shouldn't actually be allowed to have children themselves or is it that the services working with young victims are actually being massively failed and in fact are just victims twice!

  • Are the police incompetent?

I work with sex workers in manchester city centre and a few weeks ago two people came in to report their 13 year old daughter missing, we passed around pictures to the sex workers and kept our eyes out. They had obviously already told the police.

Last night after spotting this 13 year old child we informed the police - 30 minutes later they came out and surprise surprise she was not around any more.

One of the sex workers spotted her 3 times in the same night and called the police on 999. She told the police the name of the girl, what she was wearing, who she was with, what the drivers car and licence was.

all the police did was to bring a marked car and hassle the sex workers.

Now whatever you think about sex workers why are the police more concerned with picking up them that protecting a 13 year old girl who is highly vulnerable.

any comments from police officers would be appreciated

  • Would you claim back money after the Oasis gig at Heaton Park?

Not only was the organisation of the event really poor with very over priced beers and half hour quees for the bars and it took over 20 minutes for the toilets but the Enemy were not playing (I do understand this wasn't there fault)

then the generator broke twice meaning that those of us who had to leave at 11pm cos they have work in the morning had to miss the last few sonds.

Basically it was a huge dissapointment and I don't think being called names by the Gallaghers for wanting to claim the money back is fair or apporpriate!

    Interested in other opinions!

what about eastern europeans who are white - are these supposed to go home.

Also what about British white people who have emigrated, do they have to come back, what about us going on holiday to other countries, should this be banned!!!

  • Hillsborough - 20 years on why hasn't the scum apologised?

I think now we are 20 years on from the terrible tragedy that was the death of 96 liverpool fans we are no closer to a proper apology from Kelvin McKenzie and the sun.

Do you think this year would be the best moment to do it, or do you think, as I do, that it won't happen.

  • Hillsborough - What will happen with the game!!?

Liverpool may be required to play their next champions league game on the 20th anniversary of the Hillsborough disaster, I know that the club is requesting a change but if they don't manage to get it changed what do you think the club should do.

I would like to see the club boycot it, but I dont think it will happen, would like to see all fans boycot the game.

The anniversary should be a chance to remember not have to prepare for a game. At every other anniversary the players and staff have been involved in the rememberance, Steven Gerrard's cousin died in the disaster.

So what do you think they should do?

  • India, Malaysia, Vietnam, Peru or Brazil?

As you may be able to guess from the title I'm having a little trouble deciding where to go on holiday next year.

I want to go for about 10 days to 2 weeks (I would like to go for more but this is all i can get off work) Where out of these places would you recommend for this lenght break.

I like to experience new cultures, see new things and generally travel around so would like to go somewhere where there are things to see, but I would also like to be near the beach for some of the time.

Any advice would be greatly received, or if you think i have overlooked somewhere else, please let me know.

  • Should we ban all guns forever!?

Can i for one just say how shocked and saddened I ma by the news the Policy believe this atrocity was committed by the father of this family.

Is this a call for all fire arms to be removed from UK soil, I don't care if they are legal, in mentally unstable hands they are murderous.

May God have mercy on his soul!

I am going on holiday to Morocco and am staying in both Essouria and Marakesh, I want to travel into the Atlas mountains from Marakesh but want some advice on the best way to do this and ideas of cost.

Is there public transport or must I go in a pre arranged group, also where can i organise this if necessary.

Equally, is alcohol widely avaliable in Morocco? I am aware it is a muslim country but just wasnt sure on their attitude to alocohol consumption by Westeners.

I'm not talking about getting drunk, just enjoying wine with a meal.

    Thanks

  • mishapen mole?

Over the last few weeks a small few inches in diameter mark has appeared on my arm around one of my moles, it has gone much whiter in colour than any other area of my arm.

When I was in the sun last week this then went a bright pink colour and the mole it surrounds has now become slightly (less than 1mm) raised.

I have a doctors appointment next week for another reason, do you think it is worth running this by the doctor or is it nothing to worry about?

    Thanks

    Is this accurate?

Does the CofE church condone these things now!

Can I please recieve sensible answers.

    Thanks
