  • Looking for unlimited long distance plan for PRI?

We are on Charter Business phone with POTS lines, with their unlimited long distance package. We'd like to switch to their PRI service, but they don't offer unlimited long distance on PRI. We are free to purchase our long distance from another carrier, but I'm unable to find anyone who sells unbundled unlimited long distance. Suggestions, anyone?

  • To what extent can a municipality discriminate against rental property?

Specifically, can a municipality legally require a more rigorous code inspection for residential rental properties than for owner-occupied residential properties? I need an answer with links to case law or something specific like that.

  • Why does plumbing code require a gate valve for the main shutoff?

Ball valves are much more reliable. Also, if you have the gate valve for the main shutoff, is it against code to put a ball valve right after it, so you have a working shutoff when the gate valve fails?

  • Can funds in a 1031 exchange be used for repairs on the acquired property?

If a piece of property acquired in a 1031 exchange requires repairs at the time of purchase, can 1031 funds be used for these repairs if the work is done within the 180 day window? I know that repairs could be done by the seller and added to the cost basis of the property, but I am purchasing "as is" homes where the seller is unwilling to do this. In the case of major repairs such as plumbing or HVAC, it would be nice if I could meet these costs from the 1031 pool instead of liquidating 1031 funds, and then having to amortize the cost of the repairs.

  • Did the US eliminate interconnect fees?

When I first got a cell phone in the 80s, they had a per-minute interconnect fee they passed on, which applied even during the "free off-peak" period. It has been quite some time since I heard of anyone charging this fee, which would equally apply to VOIP providers like Skype. Are the companies just eating it now, or has it been eliminated?

Is there a murder statistics site for Detroit, with a year to date count? I'm looking for sites similar to http://www.burgersub.org/ for Baltimore, and http://www.jacksonville.com/publicsafety/ for Jacksonville.

  • Memphis & Nashville Hotels?

I need an affordable but decent hotel room in or near downtown Memphis on the night of August 27, and in the Vanderbilt area of Nashville on the night of August 28. I'm not having any luck online, so any help from locals would be greatly appreciated.

  • Neeed to compute graph axis tics in PHP?

I'm using FPDF to draw rectangles to make a bar graph in PHP. What I need is a script or algorithm to calculate a reasonable number of tics that fall on round numbers, for the Y axis. For example, if the range was 0 to 985,000 it could return 5 tics at intervals of 200,000.

Anyone have one or know where I might find it? If I need to translate from another language, I can, but obviously would prefer it in PHP. Thanks.
