  • I am trying to find the title of a horror film from the 70s or 80s ...?

This movie was a compilation, sort of like Creepshow, where you saw a few shorter movies instead of one long one.

The one I am looking for had this movie director who went to an old village to research it for a film scene. He became friends with a younger girl and realized that the villagers were digging up dead bodies and eating them.

At the end, the main guy and the village girl are running away, and someone hits the girl with a big rock in the back. She dies ... then the guy gets away, but he gets lost and ends up back at the village.

Any ideas about what this is from?

  • Can you cook bulgar wheat in a rice cooker?

Does anyone have experience doing this? Bulgar wheat is cooked so similarly to rice, so it seems like it could work in the rice cooker, but I don't want to ruin my machine.

  • What can I do to make the white parts of my fingernails look better?

I used to bite my nails and cuticles, and they always looked horrible. For a few months now, I have broken this habit and they look really nice. The only thing is that the whites of my nails don't look that good. My two questions are 1. Is this an indication of vitamin deficiency? and 2. Is there a polish that will help with this? Getting tips or fake nails is not an option. Thanks! : )

  • There is a game console that allows you to play old nintendo and super nes games. What is it called?

This is a console that is, I believe, unrelated to the actual Nintendo company, but you can play old games on it.

I'm currently on a low-carb diet. I don't have a ton of weight to lose, and so far its been successful.

I want to enjoy some drinks tonight, and I realize that most hard liquor doesn't have carbs. What I want to know is this: Has anyone here had good experience drinking on a low-carb diet? Has it hindered your progress?

  • Anyone have a favorite personal recipe for bean burgers that don't use black beans or chickpeas?

I love bean burgers and my husband does too, but I'm wondering if anyone has tried some that aren't made with black beans or chickpeas. I makes those two kinds, but I would like something different.

I've checked my favorite recipe web sites (so don't waste your time saying "go to some website"), but I'm looking for other personal recipes that people might have.

  • Anyone ever work at Outback Steakhouse? I want a recipe ...?

I want to know how to make the "blooming onion" from Outback. I know you can get those kits, and I have one. In fact, the kit works well as far as making sure the onion gets cut just right. But this doesn't solve my batter problem. How does Outback get each petal covered so nicely? I'm not interested in links to websites; I've looked at those. I want someone with actual experience making these. Thanks!

  • We are getting an Italian Greyhound and want to name it an Italian name?

We would like a more unusual name, something not extremely common, i.e., Giovanni. By the way, the puppy is a boy. I am aware of web sites for baby names, but I prefer personal recommendations. It's how I named both of my other dogs (Apollo and Asher). Any suggestions?

  • Antidepressants--good or bad?? Any personal experience on this subject?

I know I will ultimately have to speak with my doctor, but I want to know from actual people who have taken this medication--does it help? I have mild depression that I can usually control by just waiting it out or by redirecting my thoughts. But in the depressed stages, I am really prone to irritability, anger, and frustration. It doesn't affect my academic/professional life, but it does affect my personal life. Has anyone here benefited from antidepressants for mild depression? I'm really worried that I wouldn't feel like myself or that it would affect my sex drive ... I'm 28, by the way ... don't know if age plays a role.
