  • How do I get excel to automatically copy a row to another worksheet in the same workbook?

I use a excel sheet to calculate the total and averages for different commodities. I have a main page that is separated by columns according to the amount of bushels, moisture content, damage, etc for different grains, then each row is separated by numbers for different bins. I then have worksheets for each commodity in that workbook, so I can separate it out according to whats in that bin. Is there a way for me to set up my main worksheet by so that depending on what I type into a specific column (for ex. the column header is "commodity" and I type in "corn") that it will automatically transfer the rest of the information in that row to the other worksheet? Right now after I enter all my info on the main page, I then do a data sort by commodity and then copy and paste to the other pages. Can I set it up to automatically transfer to the other pages based on what I type into the "commodity" cell on the main page? Hope this made a little sense. Thanks for helping.

  • Guys, what's your opinion on electric shavers?

I know this isn't about sports, but I figured this is where I would find the most guys to help me out :) My husband has mentioned just buying an electric shaver instead of using razors all the time. He's hoping it will be easier and less time consuming, but has never owned one. I was thinking about buying him a good one for his birthday, but was just wanting opinions on what you think of them. Are they easier and worth the money (we spend probably a hundred dollars a year on razor blades anyway)? Do you have any suggestions on what's a good brand? Would you just stick to regular razors instead? Any info or opinions on these would be great?

    Thanks Guys!

  • How to respond to pregnancy comments?

I am seven months pregnant with my second child. My stomach is definitely a little bigger at this point than it was with my first. I have been getting MANY comments lately from people saying "WOW you're about to pop, how long do you have to go?!" Or lots of people saying "Gosh you look soooo tired. Are you feeling okay?" I know some really are concerned and want to know how I'm feeling, which I really do feel fine. But all the comments about how big I am and basically comments saying I look like crap is really starting to get me down. My doc says everything is fine (I'm fighting allergies like a lot of other people though.) It's just really dis-heartening to hear these comments probably ten times a day, and it seems like when I say I'm fine people ask "Are you sure?" It's getting old trying to convince people I'm okay and that asking too many times just makes me feel like "geez do I look that horrible?" Any suggestions on how to respond, I don't want to be rude because i know some people are just concerned, but it's really getting to me, and normally I don't care about this kind of thing. Thanks for any help.

  • Would Kielbasi go good in Ratatouille?

I was looking for a meat I could slice into rounds that would go good with the vegetables in ratatouille? (yellow squash, zuchinni, tomato, onion, pepper, & eggplant) I didn't know how that would taste? I don't eat Keilbasi myself but am making it for my husband and dad and wanted to add meat to half of it and am looking for good suggestions. Thanks!

  • Suggestions for breadcrumb topping?

I am going to try to make this ratatouille recipe with a few variations. Here is the link http://smittenkitchen.com/2007/07/rat-a-too-ee-for...

I think we would like using jarred spaghetti sauce on the bottom to bake in. Also we love fried zucchini so I thought this may be good with some type of a bread crumb toasted on the top, but this is something I almost never do so I would appreciate suggestions on what type of bread crumbs (maybe italian breadcrumbs mixed with parmesan) would go best and how to achieve a good crust. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!

  • What is your opinion on earpiercing infants?

My sister-in-law had her daughters ears pierced at 6 months old. I try to keep the open mind that "to each his own" and it's their kid they can do whatever....but I am outraged at this. Why put an infant through completely unnecessary pain for aesthetic reasons? It's not a religous thing in this case. It just infuriates me, although I just keep my mouth shut and don't comment. They look too "old" on her, they're for big girls. I just was curious as to other opinions...without people getting nasty or defensive.

  • Why are my cupcakes sticking to the paper?

I have made devil's food cupcakes a few times lately practicing for my sons birthday party. Everytime my cupcakes stick to the papers so when you peel the paper off about 1/4 of the cake is still stuck to the paper. I have used generic papers and the ones I just tried were the wilton paper cups. Any suggestions to remedy this would be appreciated.

  • In your opinion,is 16 months too soon to start potty training?

My husband and I have thought about setting out our sons potty chair, just to let him "get acquainted" with it. We weren't going to do hard core potty training yet, just letting him sit on it when we were in the bathroom. He is a little over 16 months old, and I just wondered what some other opinions were. Do you think we will confuse him if we start this now and wait til 18 mo or older to do aggressive potty training? He catches on to things quick, so he may get it easily. Any comments are appreciated.

  • Husband getting laid off...need word of encouragment?

My husband will be laid off of a job that he LOVES, and has worked hard to get into. Due to lack of funds, they have to cut a few workers and unfortunately he is the lowest man on the totem pole. I know we will be fine, we are strong willed people and will find a way to make everything work out, but I just can't figure out what to say to him to make him feel better, and even make myself feel better. I pray about it all the time. I was just looking for some comforting words to pass along, or scriptures, or anything reassuring. Thanks!

  • What type of shoe would you recommend?

I have a wedding to go to this weekend. I have a black and white patterned trapeze style top, and black dressy capri pants with a wide black belt. What type or style of shoe would look best with this type of outfit? The only choices I have at home are a black strappy dress shoe, or a flat coral colored dress shoe. (wish I had pics). Any other suggestions.

  • Pelvic pain/pressure?

I started my menstrual cycle this morning, it started about a week late. All day I have had pain in my pelvic area, almost feeling like my pelvic bone hurts. The pain is comparable to that felt when a baby comes through the birth canal, only far less painful, but uncomfortable none the less. The only thing that has relieved it is sitting on something warm (heating pad). My son is 14 mo old, I have been getting my period since he was 6 mo old, he was breastfed and weaned a month ago. This is my first cycle since stopping breastfeeding. Does anyone know what could be causing this? I took two pregnancy tests last week since I was late, both negative. As I said I began bleeding this morning. Thanks again for any info.

  • Need to stop binge eating...?

I started going to weight watcher meetings 7 weeks ago and have lost a little over 25 lbs, which I know is really good. But over the course of those 7 weeks I have been able to evaluate my habits a little better (because of tracking my points and writing EVERYTHING down). I have realized I am an occasional binge eater ( like twice a week.) Earlier this evening I wasn't even hungry but I started eating some fat free croutons (my weakness, I like the crunch) and next thing I know I'm shoving handfulls in my mouth at a time and then the bag is gone. Now I feel incredibly guilty about it. I have been a yoyo dieter for about the last 10 years, and I know this is part of the problem. Any suggestions for when times like these arise?

  • Desperately seeking help on printing problem?

I am trying to print a birthday invitation that I created in Microsoft Word using text boxes, I inserted a picture on the left and text for time, date, location, etc on the left. But when I try to print it on photo paper from word it does not turn out like regular photos (clear and glossy). It has lines running through it and the color is not as bold. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to be able to open it in my Picture Viewer to print a better qaulity photo, or any other way to print it so it turns out.

    Thanks

    It's an Epson Stylus 8400

    Usually prints great photos

  • First Birthday party gift etiquette?

My son's party is in a month, and I was just wondering what is the best way to open the gifts? We would prefer no one brings anything but you know how that goes, he always ends up with tons of stuff. So do we let him open everything (at one year old that will take forever) or is it rude for us to open things for him? Any suggestions are appreciated.
