I need to dress up as a storybook or novel hero for a fundraiser at work. So any costume ideas would be great! I would prefer something that would be easy to put together at home... Any ideas are greatly appreciated, and I will pick the best answer!!

Whenever I turn my laptop on I get a black screen and an error message stating that an error has occurred and to restart. Sometimes the message says something about boot error... Any suggestions? I have not really computer savy, so whatever advice would be great. The laptop is an ASUS if that helps, I don't know much more about it...

I am currently hosting a foreign exchange student and we are throwing a luau for her for her going away/birthday party.. What is good music to play? Obviously I will let them play whatever they want later on, but like in the beginning while everyone is getting here and just hanging out and talking, what would be some good music to play???

I am making a gift basket for a Christmas gift, and I am making it an "Ultimate Girls Night In" basket... I need ideas of things that I can use to put in the basket... I already have to Chick Flicks to put in there.... I just need some really good ideas for the rest... I really didn't want to just put candy and popcorn in it, I want to play more off the fact that it is for a girl, and also that's it the things you break out whenever you have just had a horrible day, or whenever you just want to hang out with your girlfriends...

I am trying to finish up a little Christmas shopping.... I am giving my brother in law a 20 oz Beer Mug that has his name etched in it (it is glass) and I want to put something inside of it that goes along with the theme of beer.... I was thinking of maybe putting a bottle of beer in it, with maybe some peanuts, or something...

Anyone have any suggestions? I am not a beer drinker, so I don't really know what else would go with it?

I need a good recipe for my Christmas party. We are already having 2 desserts, Mac & Cheese, Carrots, Corn, Sweet Potato Casserole, Green Bean Casserole, Mushroom Rice, and our main dish is a Chicken Casserole.....

I am thinking of possibly bringing something to be served as an appetizer. Anyone got any ideas? Or another side that would be good? The past 2 years I have taken a dessert, and it never gets touched, because by the time everyone gets through all of the food, they are full!!!!

I have asked her if she wanted anything, and I think that she is too modest to ask for anything. So, we are thinking that we will try to get things for her to help her understand our culture, (since that is what she is here to do anyway)...

Just a little back story for this sentence, I am so tired of inviting people to things, and having to change it just for them. Why should I always have to be the one to *blank* myself?

I know there is a great word to use for this, but the only one that keeps coming to mind is compromise... I am thinking there is another word though... Any suggestions would be grateful!!!

My husband and I have been TTC for 4 years, and just recently went to the DR to get assistance. I have been done 2 cycles of Clomid, and did not ovulate. So now I have been diagnosed with PCOS, and have been prescribed Glucophage(metformin) along with the clomid.

Now I am just wondering if there are any tips, or anything that anyone can give me to hopefully succeed this time!

I do chart my temperature, and I know when we are supposed to have sex.. I just am wondering if anyone else has found anything else helpful?
