Six years ago I extended my home to include my daughter, her husband and their two teenage children. I only ever charged them for utilities. I now find that at age 79 I can no longer keep up the general upkeep of the house. I also do not want to drive my car anymore. I want to sell this house and go into a unit close to transport and no upkeep.

The teenagers have also become a problem, The parents take their side in any confrontations which I avoid at all costs. The kids walk all over their parents and are rude to me too

Now because I am selling and they have to go, they treat me with contempt and do not even speak except to abuse I

I feel uncomfortable in my own home. I fear I will have a breakdown. This is bullying and I dont know how to handle it in the few weeks before they go. Any suggestions ? I am desperate

I am a widow and I had an extension added to my home to accomodate my daughter and her family, husband, two kids. I only take from them the money it costs for their utilities, nothing more. I do everything I can to help in the every day running of the place.

My daughter treats me like dirt. Walks past without speaking and in front of an audience is downright insulting. I hate confrontations,, but I do not think I can take much more. I feel shaky and ill right now expecting them home soon. Should I confront them and upset myself, or just ignore it? I am 76.

I have been under a great deal of stress for over a month now. I am feeling dreadful. I am tired all the time,my mind seems to be going in different directions. This stress I am undergoing will not be alieviated for at least a few more weeks. Any clue on how to cope physically? I do sleep for a few hours each night. I also exercise. Any clues ?

Who would I need to get the initial advice from? An Architect", Draftsman ?or interior designer. I want the basic plan and then I will go to a builder for quotes.Naturally I have my own ideas on the decor but I need the fundamentals to be able to start

I am sick and tired of previews for the following week, not being followed up. They show something that never happens or maybe it is happening months from now. Does anybody else find it frustrating ?

I need to lay some tiles over an existing tiled floor. I saw on a programme recently where they had tiles with a grid on the back and the tiles or grid would slot into each other. This would make it unnecessary to re glue the new tiles. Am I correct? Or am I dreaming ?

I do not want the hassle of pulling up the old ones. Is this possible ?

I try to make sure there is not any water in the area, but still they come. Is there any product I can use ?
