I'm thinking of taking my hair to a buzzcut. I'm tired of feeling like my hair is tied to me as a person, and I'm tired of wasting money and time on it.

I've wanted to do it for a while, but people like my mom and her coworkers tell me I'm too pretty to do that.

Basically, I just want someone to tell me I should.

I also have a pixie rn, so not too darastic.

My best friend is self harming again. I didn't know her when it happened the first time, considering we only became friends in October/November, so I don't really know how to handle it.

But, she's doing it again. She has a lot of cuts all over her arm, and makes NO effort to cover them. (She hid them during her previous bout of self harm)

I'm really worried, because last time her parents did nothing at all, they just told her not to do it again, nothing else. I can't bring it up, because none of us are really the kind of people that talk about things so openly. I know she's depressed, she knows I'm depressed, we'll talk about how sad/alright/ect,,, we've been lately, but nothing like that.

I don't know what to do. Her mom doesn't take that kind of stuff seriously, and even if she did they don't have money to get her the help she needs.

So, what do I do? I'm really worried! I used to self harm, and sure I slip up, but this is more than a slip up. I'm worried if I tell, she'll take it too far, and I'm worried that if I don't tell she'll take it too far!

This weekend I'm getting a new piercing (or two, depending if my brother wants one or not.)

I'm crossed between a verticle labret and a plain, bottom lip piercing, or something else I haven't thought of.

I'm 14, have had my nostrils done three times (cartilidge piercings don't agree with me.) and my septum (which I've been wearing since april)

So, which piercings would you reccomend or what piercings do you think would look nice?

I'm 14 years old, and my mother does about a 300 dollar gift limit, which I know I am very fourtunate for. My dad does a 100-200 limit, so I'm going to ask for a gift card to a shoe store from him.

Anyways, so far on my list for my mom I have

Twisted Peppermint candle from B&BW

Fuzzy Socks

Plush Pajamas

and I don't really have anything else.

**I'm asking for so many shoes since I have sore feet from wearing cheeper ones, and I would like to start collecting ones that will better support my feet.

I'm not very girly, I just wear plain makeup, dress in leggings and hoodies, and that's about it. I'm already lucky enough to have a laptop, phone, and 3ds. If you could attach links to online stores or things that would be helpful

Meaning I'll be going into my first year of high school, and I'm extremely excited/giddy/nervous

Any advice or tips?

I'm going to my first day of highschool on Tuseday, September 8th! But, it's a few days away and I'm dying of boredum. For the past three days I've been pretty busy, going out to do things and such, and tomorrow I think I'm going out again.

Going out is keeping me busy, but I want a few fun things to do before school creeps up on me and sends me into a swirl of haste, anxiety, and no time to do anything.

I've been reading and writing a lot, which I love but don't want to do any more of. I don't really have any friends. I don't like swimming.

I think I might be dying my brothers hair for him on the weekend, bleaching then doing pink, so that will be fun. I just bleached and dyed mine silvery blue and purple.

But what about other things, please try to make them as cheap as possible, I do not have a lot of money as I just spent all mine on back to school expenses.

(Side note; my gender doesn't matter in this situation, I just know some people like to include things like gender in these answers, and mine doesn't matter.)

I m going into ninth grade on September 8th.

A little more information;

I used to live in the town that this highschool is in, I moved away for seventh grade. I m still in contact with a few people, but not good enough contact where we ll be friends, since they re not the kind of friends I d need or fit with anyways.

Other than people recognizing me, I ll be new.

The school I ve gone to for the past two years has only one hundred kids, and this highschool has 1500+!

So, now for actual questions.

-Do you have any general advice?

-How do I make friends?

-How will I adjust to the huge shift in amount of people?

SIDE NOTE; I hate sports and the only club I might join in the GSA.

I hate summer break.

It's super boring and I have minimal things to do, at least during the school year I'm occupied for eight hours a day.

Today I bought four pairs of jeans and two pairs of leggings. I also got a plain grey dress (that can be dressed up or down) and a plain t-shirt with the Death Note logo thing on it. I have about two hundred more dollars to spend, plus birthday money. So, what should I get and in what amounts?

So far, my list is

6-8 Neutral coloured t-shirts

4 more pairs of leggings

1 extra pair of jeans

1 skirt

2-5 sweaters

A fall jacket

3-4 long sleeved shirts

2 pairs of everyday use shoes.

Should I include more? Maybe cardigans? Maybe a few new pairs of sweat pants? Give me ideas!

I want to live with my dad, who is an hour away from my mom, just so I can live in the city (closer to where I feel comfortable) and go to a better school. Problem is, I have severe asthma and my dad smokes, he doesn't have the most stable job, and his house is a mess. I told him I want to move in for the school year, and he said that he would clean for me and make sure we have food i need at all times. Which is all I really need, and then we have an air purifier I can use in my bedroom. How does this sound? How would I convince my mom? I mean, I can't be in the tiny town she lives in anymore. Everyone is horribly homophobic, and I'm one of the only openly queer kids there. I know homophobia wont be solved by moving, but I know that the highschool here is very lgbt friendly. I'm thirteen years old, almost fourteen, and have had my period since I was eleven. I don't want BC because of sex, I want it for other reasons, to be listed.

I would like to have it so I could have lighter periods, little to no symptoms, shorter period times, have everything just be easier to manage overall, and my periods give me major anxiety. My periods are already regular, so I don't need it for that reason. I also want to do the BC system where you only get your period once every three months.

I'm not sure how to ask for it, considering I'm bad at doing that stuff. I don't want to do a 'sit down' or a letter, those are too formal and will make it seem like my being interested in BC is an issue, it's too serious. I'm thinking casually asking as my mom takes hers, or just in the morning. Any suggestions of how to, though??

My partners birthday is on the eleventh, and I need gifts for them. I'm already getting them a graphic novel, but after that I'll be broke and still feeling like I'm not giving them enough.

So I plan to make them something that's pretty cheap, it shouldn't cost over sevenish dollars.

I'm thinking of making them a bracelet, like those camp ones? I could possibly sew them something? But what?

They like to cosplay, but I can't order circle lenses or wigs for them because I only have until the eleventh and shipping is unpredictible.

I'm not including their gender because it doesn't effect anything in this case. Also, we're only thirteen, so it can't be too expensive considering my lack of a job.

The town closest to me is an hour away, and I can't go to it too often considering our car is usually always in use by my stepdad and my moms always too busy with my baby sister.

My yard is in use for construction, we're building a garage which my new bedroom will be in.

I have only two friends, one who lives in the town an hour away and one who's roughly twenty minutes away, so hanging out with them isn't something I can do often either.

I can only read and write so much before cracking and internet only entertains me for so long.

Please don't suggest helping with my little sister, I hate babies. Also, you can't suggest anything with movies and malls, because again that's an hour away.

I know that I m the only one who will ever really know, but still, I would like some input.

Basically, I m comfortable with the idea of being either male or female. I feel rather masculine and feminine at the same time. It s like, I m nothing. I don t feel like anything.

I would also like to change my name from Mackenzie to either a more masculine one.

I'm allowed to get more piercings soon, right now I have my septum pierced and my ears (I hate ear piercings, though.) I'm thinking of piercing both my nostrils, or one nostril and my eyebrow, or others. Suggestions?
