Looking for a clown movie?
Hi there... I saw this movie years ago and my google-fu is powerless. Maybe somebody here can help me.
It s about a young man who was part of a clown show and part of the show was that he would be thwacked on the head with a rolled up newspaper. Later it would be revealed that there was an iron bar hidden in it. At some point he snaps and doesn t remove the bar before hitting his partner with it. It also features two old men who work in a haunted house and used to be clowns. I remember a scene where they try to put a tablecloth on table - and turns into clown routine where one of them is picked up and turned upside down instead of just doing that to the tablecloth.
2 AnswersMovies6 years agoLooking for a video: People on a subway quote from their own books to shut up preacher?
Can't believe that I can't find it. I googled for almost an hour now with all kinds of search terms, but no luck.
I am looking for a video:
A subway preacher starts reading from the bible. One after the other people stand up and start reading from their own books until the preacher shuts up. I just can't fine it anymore. Can someone help?
1 AnswerReligion & Spirituality9 years agoSubstance for a lawsuit?
Hi there... Maybe someone has some short advice - I am not sure if I should worry at all.
So my friend H. and I throw a themed adult party every other month - strictly private, no alcohol served, no one under 21 attends, etc.
On of our guests (A) got into an ugly dispute with another woman (B) and is on a rampage of jealousy and revenge. She claims that A has told others about B's party attendance and now B wants us to ban A from all future parties. She threatened us with a lawsuit if we don't do it.
We encourage our guests not to talk about other guests at the party, because they might have sensitive jobs - and it is Texas after all. People have been fired for less. But we also make it quite clear that we can't guarantee this - how would we enforce this, after all? And people could still talk even if we would ban them from future parties.
Under normal circumstances I would laugh this off as hot air. But my friend H. is studying to become a nurse and her career could be impacted by an ugly lawsuit.
My question is this: do you think there could be any substance in this for a lawsuit? Would a lawyer take her case? Is there something we could be accused of? Would this be a frivolous lawsuit?
To my eyes this is equal to suing a discotheque because one of the guests told her friends that she saw someone else there. How can the owner of the club be held accountable?
2 AnswersLaw & Ethics1 decade agoI am looking for a game show buzzer like on "Whose line is it anyway?"?
All I can find is electronic buzzer systems that track who pressed a button first. I am looking for an old-timey button that makes a "bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzt" sound. Does anyone have an idea where I could get one besides building one myself?
3 AnswersBoard Games1 decade agoI am looking for the name of a horror movie (from around 2000, I think). ?
The story revolves around a group of people investigating the disappearance of all the people in a town. At first they can't find anyone, but then discover a pile of metal and jewelry. I turns out that some amorphous monster that was summoned by someone from the town ate them all. At the end it appears from underground.
I know it's not much, but it really bugs me that I cannot remember the damn name of that movie. It definitely was not any of the "Blob" films. It seemed more along the line of Lovecraft's Cthulhu stories.
Thanks,
Andreas
