Chrsitan: Is a "gift" that you can either reject or accept, really just an offer instead?
....why didn't God call salvation an offer in the Bible, but instead chose to use the word "gift"?

7 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years agoChristian: Do the words "gift" and "offer" mean the same thing?
or are they different words with different meanings?
5 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years agoChristian: Are people that don't accept Jesus as the Savior less intelligent or spiritual than those who do?
....what makes the difference? Why do some people believe and others remain in unbelief to perish?
Are Christians more humble, or more spiritual, or more in tune with God than others....or is salvation entirely made effectual in the life of a person by God's power alone so that no one can boast of his/her salvation to anyone else?
5 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years agoChristian: Is salvation in Jesus Christ a "gift" or an "offer"?
....what does the BIBLE say?
9 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years agoIf Christ died for the sins of every person ever, will those in hell be able to say, "Jesus paid my sin debt"?
if so, on what basis could they say this since they are in hell paying the price for their sins that Jesus supposedly already paid for...?
Wouldn't that be double jeopardy?

....do you thank yourself every day for choosing Jesus?
9 AnswersReligion & Spirituality10 years agoChristian: Is the reason you are going to heaven because you weren't foolish like other people are?
...and you "accepted Jesus"; unlike the fools who don't and will perish?

....couldn't I then boast about my humility, or superior decision making skills that others don't seemingly have?

...if so, would it only be the really "good" people?
8 AnswersReligion & Spirituality10 years agoChristian: Has God predestined those whom He foreknew to be conformed to the image of Jesus Christ?
....or should the Bible read, "those who God foreknew would make a choice to follow Him, He predestined based upon their choice"?
Does God say, "I think that I should put a person on my predestination list because I can see that they will earn a spot on the roster of heaven because of My knowledge that they will make the right decision "?
2 AnswersReligion & Spirituality10 years agoDoes God move mans will/heart like the rivers of water, wherever He wants it to go?
Prov 21:1 The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will.
2 AnswersReligion & Spirituality10 years agoChristian: Since God hated Esau, and also hates all workers of iniquity; why say that God loves everyone?
....or should we say, "God loves everyone, except Esau and all workers of iniquity!"?
8 AnswersReligion & Spirituality10 years agoChristian: Is it true that without the power of God Himself, it is impossible to believe in Jesus Christ?
And they were astonished out of measure, saying among themselves, Who then can be saved? And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.

4 AnswersReligion & Spirituality10 years agoChristian: Did God make some people to be taken and destroyed; fitted for destruction?
2 Peter 2:12 But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption;
Romans 9:22 [What] if God, willing to shew [his] wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction:

Are you more humble, or more spiritual, or more in tune with God than others?
Or, is the difference, the power and grace of God alone working in your life and not in the lives of those who do not believe?
