Animal Lover

She broke it a while ago and we brought her to the vet and they cut it back. It was better for a while and she hurt it again and now her nail is almost completely off. I think it will fall off in a few days. I can't bring her to the vets again because my mom won't let me. Should I trim the nail back more? Or just leave it alone and let it heal by itself? Thanks!

I love animals and want to help, I am a junior in highschool and have good grades. What are some steps i sohould take to prepare myself for this very hard carreer? What is it like in college for people becoming a vet? I do not have any colleges in my area that offer the full vet schooling and i do not want to live at the college because of my horse and dogs at home, i cant leave them. Could i go to one college and get my pre-vet then a college that offers the full program to finish my degree? I have so many questions and no one to ask! so give me all the information you guys have! thank you!!

I have 2 saddle seat show horses and i live in the middle of the woods i used to show saddle seat and now i do show jumping and both of my saddlebreds are 20 yrs. old so its not like i could teach them to jump. I dont know if i should sell one of them and buy a jump/trail horse? One of my saddlebreds i a free lease horse so i dont even own him i could easily give him back to his owner should I?

I ordered the heartland seasons off of ebay in september. Then after it didnt come for a while i contacted the seller and asked him to re send it. he re sent iot but i am still not getting my package it has been 3 weeks. So i tracked it and it said that it was in Glace Bay.I told the seller this and he said we might need to re claim it. Not sure what that means but do you think i will ever get my package?

I own a very high strung retired show horse. I have owned him for over 10 years. He is 20 years old now but still very high strung. He is fine in his stall and everyting, but once you get on him he tenses up. As soon as i ask him to move forward he starts to breathe heavy and pick up his head. I would love for him to relax. I took him on a trail ride today with other people and he would just trot/jig the whole way. He is also very barn sour! I think he is insecure without the barn around and nervous. I wish he would trust me more. Please help he is getting older and i dont like it wwhen he gets to stressed. I feel bad for him.....i have tried calm and cool, herbs, but nothing works i need help. Thankyou!!!

I have a 20 yr. old horse who jumps and i want him on a good joint sup. He is already on glucosimean but is there anything else that is better and not to much money?

they crawl on my hand in thier cage and stuff but i have a very hard time taking them out. I am also afraid that if i do they will get loose. Please let me know what i can do because i really want to have some fun with them and stuff.

I love animals! But i dont wanna be a vet because i cant deal with blood and injured animals. I want to have a career that would be ok in this economy and will make enough money so i will not have money problems? Please help tell me anything you can think of thank you!!!!!:)

For my career i would like to be a vet tech but im not sure if i will make enough money. If you wouldnt mind telling me how much do you make an hour and what is your yearly salary that would be great and tell me if you like it or not thanx so much!!

The vet saiad nothiong was wrong with him and hes always been like this but sence he is getting older its worse. He is skinny i am feeding him sentinel senior from blue seal and beet pulp but he dosnt like the beet pulp and is not eating it. HE used to be on pacer when he was younger should i put him on pacer and the senior. But is pacer a high fat grain?

I am only 14 now but ive been thinking....i own horses now but when im older i would like to adopt a mustang. Now i do not have any experience with this sort of stuff like adopting a mustang. When i get out of college i would like to go out west to one of the adoptians. I would adopt a young filly so she would be easy to train...im very serious about this i just need more informatin. thanx
