I say this because the Democrats were the party of slavery during the Civil War as well as the party of segregation after the war. On what leg do democrats think they stand on when it comes to equality and freedom for people when they were the party that stood up and fought for slavery and Jim Crow laws? Who are they to lecture conservatives on the issue of equality and basic human rights when they were the party who founded the KKK as well as depriving people of their natural human rights. They are also the party that supported the forceful action of removing Native Americans from their homes and pushing them into reservations. Those of you that want to argue this fact, read your history books. The democrat party is historically, the party of intolerance and oppression. I'm not a republican, but I'm tired of seeing and hearing democrats trying to fool people into thinking that they are the party of tolerance and equality when their history is nothing more than a giant skidmark on this country that has caused this nation an enormous amount of pain and suffering.

Apparently in SC it is. Actually the white party leadership of the SC democrat party wants to throw out the newly elected black candidate for US senate and implant the white guy Vic Rawl. This is a pure Stalinist tactic of getting citizens to turn each other in based on a disagreement with the White House's policy on health care. What does obama want to do with the names? I don't care what party you are aligned with, this is completely un-american and unconstitutional.

I also keep hearing about the Patriot Act, well last time i checked that was at least voted on by Congress and down bipartisan lines. Also comparing the Patriot Act to this is ridiculous anyway cause Obama is no different than bush because they both support the Patriot Act.
