I've asked a question a few weeks asking will bird shot be okay for home defense. I later learned from a site called the box of truth, that bird shot will not penetrate deep enough to kill. I still hear people saying "use bird shot", "use buck shot". So basically I just want to know your opinion. Are you someone who thinks more about over penetration. I feel i dont want to give the intruder room to be able to shoot back. So for anyone who uses bird shot. Do you really feel its a reasonable trade off between buckshot and bird shot?

My friend just bought a new mossberg 500. I like to think I know a decent amount about shotguns by reading and youtube but thats as far as my experience go. I convinced him to buy double ought Buck 2' 3/4 shells for home defense. And we bought 100 rounds of bird shot for the range. I believe it was number 8shot, not sure. I was always told not to trust bird shot for home defense. But I've heard others say to use bird shot because OO buck will go through walls and that bird shot wouldnt do the job. While my friend and I were shooting we were pretty happy with the bird shot because it still felt like it will do the job putting down the intruder. So my question is, is bird shot suitable for home defense? What are your thoughts on non leathal loads for the 1st round chambered? What is your set up and what kind of ammo do u use? Do you mix and match the ammo in your shot guns?

In 2004 I went to HCC and did everything I needed to do to get my Security license, But i never used it. I ended up getting a decent job else where so my license expired and i threw it away. I am 27 now and thinking about getting into armed security. What steps will I need to take to renew my license. Any help is appriciated.

I havent had internet for a good minute and i use to love being a sniper on MW2. I'm about to pick up MW3 as soon as i get my internet back. So basically I want to know everything about your sniper class as far as perks weopons and so on. I dont know to much of the changes from MW2 to MW3 so feel free to fill me in on that as well. I'm looking for a 40 to 47" TV. My budget is under $800. I'm not sure if i should get LCD or LED. I dont want a 3D Tv and I dont care for any internet capabilities at all. I just want the best picture possible for my budget. I will be using it for movies and my PS3. Any info help's. I'm assuming that I can get a great looking Tv for a great price especially if there is no internet/apps, so If you know of a Tv that serves only for great picture that will work for me. Ok I have a basic knowledge on computer builds. I want to build a computer that can play skyrim on max settings. I went on amazon and gathered some components that I think are ok. I just bought a KaBar Fin fixed blade knife. From amazon with a drop down point and serrations. It was priced lower than the same knife without serrations. So my question is are knives generally cheaper with serrations, why do people prefer blades without serrations and what are some of the uses i can perform with a serrated blade? I'm new to knives and this is the first one I've owned.
