My friend's always had the tendency to cry for hours and act as if everything is alright. She tells me this stuff and all the stuff she goes through. I've told her that she can go to me if she wants to talk. We both play video games so I ask her to play with me as much as possible so I can get her mind off things. She just told me she's just gonna let it all out which means she'll go cry. I want to help so badly. She's been going through alot and I don't know what to do. What should I do?

So I have intense feelings for this guy. He knows alot about me. He knows I had a friend with benefits for a year. So right now he likes another guy so i just plain out said i liked him. I believe that actions speak louder than words. What can i do to truly convince it's just not sex for me. So basically here's a little problem i have with the Bible. The biblical statement that “God is the Alpha and the Omega”. Loosely defined it means the beginning and the end, the all knowing. Which of course implies that all of his actions and the results are fore known to him. So if God knows that I am going to be a bisexual atheist who goes to hell then what was the point of creating me? Millions of years ago he would've known I'd end up in hell. Was it to watch me suffer? If yes then he's a sadistic god. And before you blabber about an unknown purpose for me I ask you what is my purpose? To go to hell just to prove a point? Many of us, if given the power omnipotence, would do something like end world hunger, world peace or something like that. And why, god, who's love is supposedly far more magnified than a human's love do just that? I mean he's omnipotent. Before you blabber about life's challenge then he's unfair then. I live a fairly challenging life but I don't suffer from starvation, disease, living in a third world country or mutilated limbs. You don't need infinite love to stop those you just need compassion and something called common sense. Something God seems to lack. Also this Isaiah 45:7. “I form the light and create darkness. I make peace and create evil. I the lord do all these things”. God just outright claimed he created evil. Also since he knows the future then by creating Lucifer he KNOWS he created evil. Like i said, common sense, God needs it

Let me start of with saying that my friend knows I'm bisexual and is completely fine with it. Before this he has been really close to me and still is. He would put his hand on my legs, put his arm over my shoulder, hug me, compliment me, all tons of stuff. But what confuses me is that, if he was gay or bi, wouldn't he have told me when I told him? The signs are clear. When we got our school ID he wanted to exchange because he said my picture was cute. And now, he saw the pictures for the yearbook, and one of them was my football picture. He said he loved my smile. My gut says he likes me but he hasn't even said he's gay or bi. What do you think D:?

My conservative friends say that education needs to be cut further since it is failing horribly according to them. But unknown to them, the root is the bloated military budget, the budget needed to fund the wars that is giving us nothing except wounded soldiers that sacrificed their time and body for a lost cause. The cause is unclear really. The US spends more than the next 17 countries on a list. Our military expenditure is 40% something of the entire world. And we're here wondering why the WHO ranks us so low for an industrialized nation and our education sucks so much. So conservatives, I'd like to hear your opinions on education and why it is so bad. Same thing for our military budget
