  • If you think a Lawyer is being unfair or doing something unethical how can you take them to the bar?

In a recent estate issue the firm in quesion merged several times and a few other things which for brevity I will not go into. Still They seemed to charge us more than the stated claim, they ignored our phone calls and e-mails, failed to notify us when processes were done, and really gave poor service over all. To us it seemed they were more interested in bleeding all they could from us out of a pre set up estate contract. Even after finalizing and giving them the last check, and stating and confirming that the issue was done, 2 months later we get another bill. This one from the last lawyer in the firm that was assigned to the case that was present when everything was 'finalized'. He went back into our case without our knowledge or approval to do so for some unknown reason then sent us a bill. To me that was rather an invasion of privacy as well as a shabby attempt to get more money.

so our choice is take to court or take to the bar. Court means getting another lawyer. does anyone know abut taking a lawyer to the bar association? Who to contact or where to start?
