How much is a jingle worth?
I've been approached to license a few radio jingles I wrote. They're a local auto body shop with ten locations and the jingles are 5-10 secs. each (variations of their name, web address, and service features).
How much is that worth for a yearly, or lifetime license?
1 AnswerRadio9 years agoSecuring Domain Names as payment for small claims judgement?
I won a small claims judgement for lack of payment for website work. The Sheriff's sale cannot be executed because the defendant is never home (and perhaps lives in someone else's residence). Can I petition the court to award me the domain names he owns? (Including ones for which I didn't develop sites?) Why should my ability to collect be limited to physical possessions?

4 AnswersGolf1 decade agoCan a restaurant charge your card...?
... multiple times if you only sign once?
A new diner, instead of the cashier allowing me to add the tip and be charged for the check+tip they instead charged the check amount, printed it out, and asked me to write in the tip.
Then they made a separate transaction, for the tip, for which I didn't receive a receipt. I asked for a receipt, was given a copy of the slip for the original check amount, and told to again fill it in for my records.
When I took issue I got the runaround and it seems completely unorthodox - how can a transaction be made in your name when you don't sign for it?
Clearly this isn't kosher, I'm concerned of the legality, and wondering why this is being done (to hide the tip from my receipt or record it as a second transaction).
Legal?

2 AnswersLaw & Ethics1 decade ago2000 Buick LeSabre Windows locks don't work (Solution)?
Had this, fixed today, the solution is corrupted wiring at two spots.
1) Under the center of the driver seat, in the plastic sheath (that is only taped closed), you'll see four tan with white stripe wires connected with with a little white splicer... cut it out, splice together. This is the serial data lines.
2) Also fixed, cause it was corrupted, yellow wires connector box inside the wiring canal box underneath the carpet and along the driver's side door. 8 yellow wires connected into a little plastic box... clean the contacts.
Fixed!

No one else can really play in a 'worser ball' format than the best of the best so why not have that in the Ryder Cup? That would create fantastic scrambles and make for an incredible event!

What instrument is easist for composition?
I can play a little guitar and bass but the other day I played a marimba!... and I found it was far easier to create a melody than with guitar/bass. Is that because it's more 'linear' like a piano?... is it generally easier to compose and improvise (with a melody) on a 'straight' instrument?
