I am a Navy vet and am disgusted at a coward who ran from the field of battle. How do you " conservatives " answer this?

Trump loves to see us fighting against each other. The best thing we can do is ignore what he says and return to our ordinary lives. A bit of Stoicism will allow reason to overcome emotions and free us from the madman Trump has become.           

Not once did I see Trump look straight into the screen during the debate. Is Trump lacking the courage of his convictions and lacks the rectitude to look directly to millions of Americans watching the debate?Can any of his supporters say why he couldn't? Biden did.

I have the following suggestions:

1 Peeling a sack of potatoes every day.

2. Sorting fruits or vegetables on a farm.

3. Wiping windows.

4. Sweeping floors.

5. Cleaning bathrooms.

6 Serving tables.

Trump supporters say that poor people are "lazy" while Trump hasn't worked an honest days work in his life. I put in the last suggestion because Trump may face charges of fraud in the State of New York. Those who lead should set the example and what's sauce for the goose is also sauce for the gander. If Trump supporters believe in hard work then they ought to expect Trump to do the same. I challenge any of his followers to refute what I have said!

 The tragedy we are experiencing today had its beginnings prior to the 2016 elections. By backing Trump they knew that that the deep and sharp divisions we have today would bare bitter fruit. Putin and his lot are drinking champagne while watching in amusement as we suffer in fear. Putin has Trump wrapped around his baby finger and has used him to incite sedition. We are a gracious and compassionate people not flag waving merchants of death. The immediacy of the pandemic and the loss of millions of jobs has made us vulnerable to demagogues like Trump to use us for his own self indulgence. It is tragic that millions of people lack the capacity of critical thought letting the Putins and Trumps lead us into a sad consequence like this. With conviction in our hearts we can endure, the dark clouds will pass, the sun will shine again on this our precious land.

All over the Oval Office walls are portraits of Trump. An advisor rushes into it saying it is a national emergency. His secretary says " The President does not want to be disturbed, he is upstairs having his portrait painted."

The Gettysburg Address is perhaps one of greatest speeches on all of recorded time. Its eloquence and simple words make it a beautiful document. I had to memorize it and so should Trump. He should stand in front of the Lincoln Memorial to reflect his sincerity by its recitation. If he wants to make America great again, may I remind him of the last words of the Gettysburg Address which says" A government  of the people, by the people and for the people shall not perish from the Earth" I doubt that he has the courage of his convictions to do so and I challenge all his supporters to recite Lincoln's Gettysburg Address. If not you should hang your heads in shame.

Americans by in large are a compassionate people not like those like him who turn  their backs on our poor and needy. He says "Make America great again."  while it can be said that the greatness of a nation is how it treats the least of its citizens, how 

President Roosevelt would have what was called fireside chats to assure that we need not despair and gave us reassurance. I think he did this about once a week. Trump has not publicly to my knowledge given any consistent message in these troubled times to give us comfort like President Roosevelt did. What kind of person is Trump to disregard our need to be assured?
