The best book to understand Satan is the bible...?
...or is there a better one out there that you can suggest?
11 AnswersReligion & Spirituality10 years ago...what is it that you truly wish to know?
17 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoCould the people who can come up with a list of things that they believe Christians do to make the world worse?
...and, thus, feel an obiligation to turn others from Christ...
... not realize that the people who've done (or do) these things (that are listed) are not actually Christians...
...because of the things that they do...?
8 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWhat I'm wondering: While seeking an answer if its fair to take someone's art & associate it with spirituality?
... (especially when the artist is not spiritual [or even anti-spiritual]), could I have experienced a self-fulfilling prophecy...
...when considering today's verse of the day email as an answer to what I was considering:
2 Corinthians 4:
3 But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing,
4. The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so
that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of
Christ, who is the image of God.
Here's my youtube blog going into this a bit more (if you are interested):
8 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade ago..again, how is it that that which is within the womb be blessed unless it be a separate living being?
Luke 1:42
And she spake out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb.
7 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWhich is better: To be told "hey, your wrong and you just don't realize it" or "I think I got somethin' good?
...come check it out and decide for yourself"?
2 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoIts one thing to say "Hey I think I got somethin' here you might want to check out if you get a chance..?
....and another thing all together to say "hey, what you got cookin' there is totally wrong", right?
I mean, if you got something better, lay it out there and leave it at that...rather than tryin' to poke holes in something else, too...right?
What I'm askin' is: If you know what you got is good, then why even take shots at that other thing that's not what you got?
6 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWhy would you seek to cause disbelief...?
...if it didn't (doesn't) work for you, why try and make it not work for others, too?
14 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade ago...any thoughts on using two Yahoo Answers profiles and then...
...making referece to yourself:
14 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade ago...can you imagining a person choosing to develop their own reality wherein there is no God...?
...and at the same time, this developed reality that they've created (and are exist in) actually exists within a greater-overall-reality (which actually contains each individual's developed reality) where God exists (and has always existed) ...?
3 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade ago...how 'bout a hug?
7 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade ago..do you think this 7 minute brake-down of the bible is sufficient (taking one minute to consider each point):
1. God exists
2. God created everything including people
3. All the people he made turned out to be really bad, except for one group who not only acknowledged His existence and professed their love for Him
4. God gave the group a set of rules so that they could get right with Him when ever they were bad and then were sorry for being bad
5. No matter how hard the group tried they could follow the rules
6. God then sent His Son to deliver an even easier way for this group to get right with Him
7. The group rejected Him and His Son by killing Him, so then God made this easer way to get right with Him available to everyone in the whole world (rather than just that group) forever and ever until He comes back
3 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade ago...is it not better to love and encourage one another than to challenge a fellow-believer over things of faith
...of this, specifically, Paul tells us:
Romans 14:22
Hast thou faith? have it to thyself before God. Happy is he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth.
11 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoCould you accept someone who is Christian stating: ...that they love gays?
...that they love theives
...that they love Muslims
...that they love atheists
...that they love widows
...that they love satanists
...that they love orphans
...that they love haters
...that they love philanthropics
...that they love destructive people
...that they love healers
...that they love violent killers
...because Christ calls us to love all people even if they know not what they do.
19 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoCould being tested and corrected feel difficult because that is what the evil one would have you think...?
...'cuse I know that being put in the right direction feels pretty good...
3 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade ago...so the cover of my New International bible was bending, so I paper clipped it to a random chunk of pages...
...yesterday morning.
In the evening, I was reading my King James Bible in Leviticus 21.
I then checked my New King James Bible for that same scripture in Leviticus 21
Wondering about how it would look in the New International, I pulled it out and flopped it opened right where I had fastened the paper clip that morning and it opened to:
Leviticus 21
Isn't that neat!?!
5 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoIf the Lord asked you to stay long enough for His clouds to fly you away...?
...if your time was coming would you not be afraid to go?
11 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade ago...could God not have then taken the substance (that would make one be from the seed of Adam) from Adam ...?
... and create other humans on His own that would still be from the seed of Adam...
...but still not created as we know humans to be created today...
...and have it not mentioned in the bible?
2 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade ago...couldn't God have continued in making more people (like He did for Adam and Eve) of His own accord...?
...after he created Adam and Eve and just not have it mentioned in the bible?
