Find someone who would accept a 27 yr old college grad with 3 children supporting herself in her own home who is totally going through a much needed divorce right now....okay, okay, so not that I don't have enough on my plate already, I just mean in the future....I'm not looking, I guess I'm mostly depressed and 'doing it all on my own now' and I feel lonely, sad, exhausted, yet proud for taking care of business, you know? But then again, still fearful that life will have nothing to offer me.....anyone ever go through this?

I am separated from my husband and it is breaking my heart right now that we are having so much trouble trying to get things working again.....he is the love of my life - and I his - yet we're on the verge of a divorce. I guess the saying, "sometimes love just ain't enough" is the truth....and you know what? The truth does hurt. Any advice?

Spiritual without being religious?

I consider myself sort of agnostic, although I still pray and live by the golden rule. I just think that life should be good while we are living amongst each other - regardless of what happens when we die. I mean, I believe in a 'higher power' (whether it's God or the Universe or Mother Nature, heck I dunno) and I pray for others around me--call it positive affirmation-call it what you want--& it still fills me with a sense of faith without religious dogma or belief to the 'chrisitan' god.......is this wrong?

2 days ago I had almost 3,000 pts and was top contributor--I was on the computer at work--so than I go home and get on and I had already been logged on--well I get on YA, but I refreshed the page-except it knocked me down 300 pts. - back to where I was at home....so I sign out and sign back in - and here I am -shy 300 pts. what the crap is this? has this happened to anyone else? now I have to re-do all of these pts? :(

think the part in the movie "Little Nicky" where the devil-dude is like, "Guess what? There really IS a Hell! ...and you're all going there in 15 minutes!" and everyone starts running and screaming?! (sorry not a real Q, just thought it was funny)

If we were created from a nebula....(think about it) ...one day the Sun will burn out and in time (a lot of time) it will become the nebula again (baby star dust) and out of this-new life will form....and we will all live again. Spiritual or not; soul or not; life is tangible and constantly relived.

Why do so many people wonder about how religions came about when all they have to do is pick up a history book and read? It's a strange thing how a history book can explain why so many different religions exist, why so many Gods exist, and why most people are freaking brain-stems.....

Many believe that we must remember the death of Jesus Christ as a way to have our sins forgiven and be welcomed into the Kingdom Of Heaven...

But I just think that a wise and loving prophet was tortured and killed by people who aren't very different from those around us today....those that persecute the poor or the helpless....isn't THAT what we shall really be remembering (even by wearing the cross) less history repeats itself, correct? Not why Jesus died...but HOW and WHO persecuted him......honestly we persecute people everyday.....we have to remember that Jesus was preaching the Golden Rule...the simplest truth of all religions.....

Some atheists believe in more than one God. Some atheists don't believe in the Christian God. Some are good people like the Buddhists but believe we're just 'here'. Some are obssessed with science. Some would rather just be 6-feet under and be more than happy to sleep the rest of eternity, what's wrong with that? I'm not an atheist personally, but atheists are not bad people...most are pretty decent people AND they're not pushing religion on me!!!!!

but we are here aren't we? We're living/breathing with hopes, children, and dreams?! Must not be an 'evil' entity, huh?

We need to be happy and thankful with what we have now, and whether life exists after death, well...that shouldn't mean much to a person who has lived a full life...full of love and happiness....forever shall they rest in peace...and be happy with that outcome.......

The Bible may be hypocritical and contradicting but that is only because Man put words to it and took part in translating it....some parts may be beautiful and other parts may not even make sense.....most of the time I don't think any of it has to do with Jesus Christ because Jesus was not a prejudice person...he lived and preached the Golden Rule.....how much more confusing can it get? Also, there are many hypocritical Christians/Catholics/Atheists/Scientists, etc...out there...I mean, come on, how many times can a person go to confession for the same darn sin every single week? My personal belief is Spiritual.......I give thanks for a Higher Power and this Universe and the fact that we choose how to live.....because I know that something greater than we are created this place....but I don't knock religious people for trying to spread their knowledge...how can a person criticize or degrade people who are trying to preach faith, peace, and love?

Have you ever met someone (even your spouse or sig other ) that caught your eye and you were like-whoa! and then you met them and over time they became the most ugly person you ever met? and then someone you meet who is not so attractive can become the most beautiful person you've ever met?
