  • Tendered Resignation, but company refuses to release?

    Hi

    Heres my situation.

I am working in a place, where I have been seconded by my company to another company . In my offer letter was a clause, that I would have to sign an agreement that I would have to give a notice of 6 months or Rs 5,00,000/- if I chose to resign while at client site. I signed the offer letter, but did not sign the agreement. My usual notice period is 3 months.

I tendered my resignation (to my parent company )1 month back. I have offered to pay my 2 months basic salary in lieu of early release.

My company is refusing to release me. They have informed the client that I can be kept for 6 months as per my agreement (which I DID NOT sign). I have continuously wriiten to my parent company to release me , but they do not respond at all. Not to my emails , not to my phone calls.

My client company's boss is agreeing to release me, but my immediate Project manager is refusing , she wants me around for 1 more month. I have to join my new workplace in 18 days. What can do?
