Been every religion, made lots of mistakes, but life has been interesting for me.

  • I just got a "reported answer notice" but I never saw the question or answer before?

I just got a "reported answer" notice. However, I never saw that question or answer before. I even double checked my profile - its not there either. Even at that, I don't think "Hey Macarena" could be seen as offensive? This just seems too bizarre. How do I contact the powers that be on Y! Answers to fix this problem? Does anybody know what to do? Has this happened to anyone else?

  • On the old movie Backdraft with Kurt Russell, did anyone notice...?

Did you notice the last scene where they show the firetrucks leaving the station, an orange tabby cat is run over and killed by the trucks? I watched the movie again recently and saw this.

  • How do I write a statement of purpose?

I am so hyped about entering a doctoral program and was hoping some of you could tell me what type of things to put in the statement.

  • Do you find it absolutely hilarious when someone reports you?

I can't stop laughing. I knew exactly what would happen when I posted that comment. It's just too funny. Its a power trip for me. Anyway, when I post questions, the most I might do (if at all) is put a thumbs down. You could say anything you wanted to me, that is what Y!A is for. I want to hear from everyone - not just people who agree with me. I mean, what would be the point of posting a question if you can't take differing opinions on a topic?

  • Has anyone been to the Interstate 4 "Dead Zone" outside of Orlando?

This is supposed to be haunted by four angry spirits whose graves lie under the east bound lane of the expressway. There are more accidents there than any other place on the highway. This is a one mile stretch of the highway on the southern bank of the St. James River (northern boundary of Seminole County). I passed through it and saw it was quite beautiful with marsh and river all around. Also, its where other major roads lead out of the city so traffic gets very congested right there. If I had a sense of anything, it was not malicious spirits (like the "medium" they had on TV). I had a sense of "geez these people drive way to fast for this much traffic". Also, I looked over at the eastbound lane and it was very congested. It is also very obvious which part the graves are under. I think that is terrible, but I got a sense of sorrow, not a sense of anger. What do you think about these ghost stories?

  • My husband acts like I'm just crazy, but tell me what you think?

A few months ago, I would try to call my husband when it was well after when he should have been home, like 7:30 or 8:00 just to see if he was okay and working late. However, I would keep getting his voice mail on his cell. I found out from his sister that he was ignoring my phone calls and lying about where he was. He's traveled out of town (about 100 miles) a few times to finish up at his old job. Every time he has said he'd be home by dinner, but when I call to see if he is okay (because of the long commute) his voice mail immediately comes on each time from around 6:00 to 8:00. He finally calls me after 8 to say he's just started on the way home. The last time he said he was finished and didn't have to go back, but then all the sudden he had to go back today. I can't help but think he's lying to me again. Really, I keep trying to trust him but it just keep happening over and over. Am I a fool?

  • Shouldn't questions that challenge your faith only strengthen it?

If you truly have faith, then people who challenge it shouldn't offend you.

  • What do you think about a man who behaves this way?

Okay, a few months ago, my husband and I were getting divorced. I mean paperwork completed, husband sleeping at his sister's house, etc. It was over. I contacted a dear friend of mine (who happened to also be my boss from a year or so ago) and told him. Him and I flirted heavily at work, but since we are both married nothing ever became of it. We started regularly speaking by phone or email. He was always very receptive and supportive of me. Then after Christmas, my husband and I reconciled. I told him one day during a phone conversation. He went on to tell me several reasons people stay in marriages they aren't happy in. He didn't sound very happy about the news either. Now, I have emailed him since then to tell him I am moving away (I really just want to say a simple good-bye -and he's a job reference so this is a touchy subject) but he hasn't responded. My fear is that I hurt him. Guys, what should I do? My gut says let it be? What would you do?

  • Why are so many children on Yahoo!Answers?

I was under the impression that you had to be eighteen to have a Yahoo!ID. Evidently you have your mommy's or daddy's permission (and credit card number) or you are lying about your age (which is pretty easy to do). However, sometimes very good questions need real answers not some little teenager's (child's) new way of making prank calls. Don't get me wrong, some of you make very good questions and put thought into your answers, but some are obviously naive and some think that being a smart-*ss is a new thing. Trust me, its not.

  • Prolonged Pityriasis Rosea. . .What Should I Do?

I was diagnosed with P. rosea in July 2006. While the rash spread to my entire body (including my neck, face, hairline, ears, feet legs, torso, back) it finally started to subside around Thanksgiving. However, I keep getting new breakouts of the small scaly patches, just not all over. I have a new rash on my face. Its been almost 9 months. Has this happened to anyone? Do you have any information that will help me? All the websites say the same thing and obviously, my case is different than the typical one.
