At work there are 3 fluorescent lights fixtures through out the building. Some have bright white bulbs and some are mixed with yellowish bulbs and white bulbs. Is this bad for my eyes or health in any way?

I have 3 chickens that I think stay in the laying boxes all day. Then the other chickens join them to try to lay their eggs. I have a variety of chickens totaling 12 chickens. Brahma, Easter Eggers, and Ancona.

What are they doing? I do pick them up and put them out so they can eat, drink and poop. I feed them scratch and Layena and they are free range. Thanks

Need to find out if there is a router that we could hook up a usb cell modem to so then we can hook up wired devices to this router to get internet access through the usb cell modem. We don't need a wireless router. Just need local devices to be wired to the router and then get internet access though the usb cell modem. Thanks

The top refrigerator and the bottom freezer are working fine. Ice cream is hard and I have Two 20 oz bottles of water in the freezer and they are completely frozen. It just runs a lot! The refrigerator and freezer are not to empty or too full of food and stuff.

I go to bed early and wake up and have noticed it running a lot between the hours of 1am and 5am for the last few days. No one is opening it during this time.

The cycles I heard was:

On for 35 minutes off for 10 minutes and back on for 10 minutes then off.

Another one was running X minutes and then off for 2 minutes and back on.

Just now at 5pm it was running for X minutes and off for 2 minutes and back on again.

The door seals are fine. I cleaned the condenser 2 years ago and it’s not that dusty here although we have dogs so I need to check it again. I adjusted both the freezer and refrigerator from 4 to 3 and still runs a lot. I adjusted both the freezer and refrigerator from 3 to 2 and still erratically and the sodas are not as cold. Just set it back to the recommended setting of 4.

Is it one of the fans or thermostat? The refrigerator is in the house.

It is a Kenmore that is 7 years old with the refrigerator on top and the freezer on the bottom and a working ice maker. Model #79575293401

Hello, I have 4 sheep and 2 goats. I fill their water buckets up daily and nightly during the summer. Is there a water valve float kit I can install in a water trough? So if there is such a valve this would fill the trough back up to full as they drink the water.

Reading Popular Mechanics they advertised Amsoil. Is this a good product as I have not heard of it? Also if you switch to synthetic oil can you go back to regular oil? I have a 1999 Toyota Camry LE 4 cylinder auto trans with 240k miles on it. Thanks.

We are planning to cover a 12' x 12' dog run that is just outside our bedroom sliding glass door. I'm concerned about the noise it will make when it rains. Should I use the metal roofing panels or the Polycarbonate plastic roofing panels. Also which one last longer? Thanks

We have a Qudra-Fire Hudson Bay Propane direct vent room heater by Hearth & Home Technologies.

Our pilot light is blue, yellow, and orange. I think it used to be only blue when we first moved in 7 years ago. I checked the manual and there is nothing under troubleshooting for this. Is this normal for the pilot light to be these colors? Thanks

My MAC 3200 Series 32cc CM3 16" chain has been AWESOME for the last 5 years. It now will start and run but not idle, I have to pull the choke out to keep it running and push it back in to still keep it running while pulling the throttle. When I push the primer bulb it does prime but I can hear it pushing air too which it never did to before. So it does not give you the tight primer bulb feeling after 5-6 pushes.

What is the problem? Carb rebuild? Any info would be great.

Also put Start Your Engines additive in and that did not help.

We have an indoor grill for 4 years now and the non stick coating is worn off in the middle where it gets the most cooking. It still works great. Is there any chance of the aluminum contaminating the food?

I had my oil changed in my 1999 Toyota Camry 4 cylinder with 233k miles on it. I got it back and it was 1/4 inch or more above the fill mark on the stick. I called and they said "With a vehicle that has over 200,000 miles, it is normal to add a little extra just so it does not go low between oil changes.

Is this true??? I would rather add oil as needed. I suspect oil pressure comes into play here. I'm no expert but I rely on common sense. Please let me know if this is true. Thanks.

I've been dealing with gophers and moles for close to 20 years. Still can't dig up and set the traps right every time and get them. Now I have something I have not seen before. We have our garden enclosed with a 8 foot fence to keep out the deer. We have hung bars of soap on the fence to keep the deer out and has been working so far. So now pepper plants are disappearing into the ground and there are no dirt mounds.?!!! How can that be? I dug and dug and did find tunnels and set some traps and another pepper plant disappeared. Almost looked like the gopher hole went straight down. I just set some one more trap which looks to be a promising catch. This time I put some gopher poison in the hole too. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
