1 AnswerMathematics9 years agohow do you find the angle formed at the clock at 11:20?
i got 130 degrees, but the book says its 140 degrees
11:20..so the hands would be somewhere between 11 and 12, and also on the 4
there are 4 full hours (each hour is 30 degrees), so there's already 120 degrees (4*30)
and 4/12 of the hour has passed, which is 1/3... when you multiply 30 deg (in 1 hr) by 1/3, you get 10 degrees
and 10+120 is 130...but the answer is 140...what did i do wrong?
