I have a question hoping someone can help answer it for me. My husband and I have been looking on closing on a house for a couple of months now. We were suppose to close end of July but our house was flipped for less than 90 days so we couldn't close, we now have to way until end of august but I just had my baby a couple wks ago and now maternity leave can hurt our closing date again.

The thing is, I'm not yet on maternity leave. I work for a school and is still on summer vacation paid yr round. I won't go on maternity leave until 2 days before we close. Will that affect us getting the house? I will still get regular payments for the month of August.

So my fiancé and I are getting married soon and as I seek out for an apartment for the both of us the soon to be MIL happen to call him right in the middle of apt shopping and demanded us to NOT MOVE OUT. She talked to the fiancé and all the fiancé did was agreed with her saying "yes, I know", "yes... "yes", suddenly he handed over the phone to me and she spoke with me telling me that she would rather prefer us to stay with the fiancé's older brother and his wife for a while first... I don't understand why, I mean I'm 29, he's 28 and the both of us work hard for our money and we are very capable of getting our own place but out of 'respect' and the want to be 'liked' by the in laws I reluctantly agreed although I don't know how I'm going to live with another couple I barely talk to... What should I do? Should I just get my own place anyway? The fiancé feels stuck in between his MIL's wants and me and I'm about to just lose my head. Or should I just abide by what they want and surrender my own wants in order for them to like me? Help!

I'm going to Florida with my bf to visit his family in about a wk. We're going to be there for 10 days and due to his family living in the country side and their windows functioning differently there are no window installed AC or central air. I heard that Florida weather in late July is extremely hot and ever so humid which I am not use to b/c when it is hot where I live I either hop in a pool or I hide in central air homes. My bf and I are thinking about buying a portable AC for at least the living area for his little brothers to just be comfortable. What do everyone recommend?

I need help. My sister's boyfriend's cousin asked to fix my laptop and use it. The laptop is still good but my formatting disks are all scratched so I haven't gotten around to taking it in. Since he was staying with us I had told him that he can fix it and use it but only in the house and when he moves out he can give me back the laptop but my sister got into a fight with him and he took everything and left along with my laptop. I spoke with him over the phone to bring it back but he hung up on me. I want to report my laptop stolen but I lost my bestbuy receipt, can anybody help me to resolve this issue? Would bestbuy be able to give me a receipt? Help?

I had a yeast infection a couple of months ago and I thought I cleared it but at my physical exam just a couple days ago I'm still positive for yeast, I'm now worried that I might've passed on the infection to my bf. He and I both want him to get tested and treated for yeast as well but he's a contract worker and doesn't have insurance. Anyone know of a free clinic to go to in the Minneapolis, MN area? Let me know, thanks.

Ok, so this is a little weird. I was approved for a macy's visa card, they mailed me the card and as I try to activate it I am automatically sent to a representative who then asks me a few questions to verify that the person is really me. Well, a question popped up about which car had I previously owned and/or cosigned for but the multiple choices they gave me does not relate to me one bit. They told me that they got the information from my social security number, that blew me off so I immediately went and check my credits on line but nothing seem suspicious, there were no unknown loans of any sort. Has anyone ran into this problem with Macy's before?

I was sick yesterday and my car was just sitting out in the cold for a day, this morning as I was getting ready for work I went to start my car but it won't start. I don't believe it to be the battery b/c the heat and lights are still working but it just won't start, pressing on the gas petal doesn't work either and this morning was -1 oustide. I drive a 2002 honda accord. What can I do?

I try so hard to just leave the past in the past but I keep hitting a brick wall. My bf and I had been together for about 8 months but yet I can not let go of his past. He isn't a guy who dates a lot and/or had he ever had a long term relationship so with his actual official so called first girlfriend he was head over heels for her (which might I add he was 24 or 25 at that time). It doesn't help that I knew him for many years and his friends are also friends of mine so I hear stories of what he did for her. He lived in California, she lives in Wisconsin and he has relatives that lives about 7 hours away from her town although his family didn't want him to move up north he did anyway for the sake of her because although 7 hours away was still a distant it wasn't as far as 20+ hours. Well, he moved up and they dated for about 2 to 3 months and he believed to had loved her (although now he insist it was a mistake and he only thought it was love). Well, in within the short 2 to 3 months he had traveled the distant almost every weekend to be with her, he even bought her a $600.00 stand up lamp that she wanted (he would never throw that kind of money down for me) ; well she ended up cheating on him, he confronted her she denied it and then she broke up with him. About 4 or 5 months down the line he and I got together, I live in the very same town as his relatives who he is currently staying with so he would occasionaly bring up the fact that sooner or later he will be moving back to Cali... well, what can I say? I've said a few times to him due to jealousy perhaps that he didn't come up here for me so if he goes back I have no say in it; a few times he did say to me, "well I'm staying because of you." but still it isn't enough assurance for me. I'm his longest relationship ever and I know that we love eachother very much but each time I think about the sacrifices he's made for her it just jerks at me and I get so upset with him wanting to hate him each time, comparing myself to her, wishing that I could love him less, although I never bring it up to him. I live 10 minutes away from him and he doesnt' even bother to come by to see me as often whereas she lived 7 hours away and yet he made the trip each weekend. I don't know how to get over his past, I know it has nothing to do with me but still it bothers me so much making me feel as if I'm only 2nd best to him and when it comes to me he'll never sacrifice as much as he did for her. Is what I'm feeling normal? I want to get past this but how????

So, I've been on the nuvaring for about 6 months now, I do like it a lot but I'm trying to alter it so I don't get my period on certain weeks. As I look unto my calender, I realize that all of my ring free week to get my period falls on weeks of holidays which sucks... I'm going to get my period this weekend of Halloween (which I don't really care of) but if I keep consistent with my schedule dates I will be getting my period on Thanksgiving, Christmas and Newyears Eve so please can someone explain to me the process of wearing the ring for 3 weeks and then taking the old one out to replace with a new one immediately. I heard that alot of doctors approve of this but I'm confuse... will that week still be considered a ring free week even though I immediately replace it with a new one? Or is a start of a new week? And if I want to get my period do I take out the ring exactly three weeks after the immediate ring replacement or the original week that I was schedule to take out the ring? Help???

This is my 4th week (ring free) wk on the nuvaring and it's been 4 days but still I don't have my period. I'm pretty sure I am not pregnant but I was just wondering if anyone else who is also on the ring experiencing not getting their periods. A friend of mine says people usually get their periods on the third day. BTW this is my first month on it.

Ok, I just started on the nuvaring a week ago and today is the 7th day of me being on it, I know I am suppose to use alternative protection for the first 7 days however this morning I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend, he slipped a bit therefore my question is since it's my 7th day on the birth control will I be okay?

My sister had a dream about 3 snakes laying on my bed and I wonder if anyone knows what that might mean. I asked if any of the snakes bit me or even touched me but I guess her dream wasn't so vivid b/c she don't remember. Then she said in her dreams she tried getting rid of the snakes by using a stick to throw them out of the window but she couldn't get rid of one b/c it fell under my bed. Any thoughts to this?

So, a few days ago my boyfriend drove my car while I was in the passanger seat on our way to one of my friend's picnic; well due to construction work on the hwys there were sudden traffic and my bf couldn't brake in time so we end up rear ending another car. Their car had minor scrathes on the back bumper but my car's hood got smashed in moderately bad (it's not too bad) but I will have to replace the grill and hood (or so I believe) so we reported the accident and I made a claim. The accident is our fault so now I'm wondering who's driving record will be affected? Due to my bf not having insurance my insurance is going to handle the accident so any idea on how much my premium is going to go up?

So like I said, I've been getting many popups on my computer even when I'm not online and my windows are constantly freezing on me so I rebooted the whole hard drive but still I'm getting massive pop ups even after the system should have been repaired. What is going on? What anti-virus do I need? Do I need to take my computer in to a shop? HELP PLEASE.

I drive a 2002 honda accord coupe and since a few months ago there has been this kind of clicking noise coming from i'm assuming my a/c or heater motor. it gets louder as i turn the ac or heat higher (however the noise isn't there when ac/heater is not on)... what could this be? is it critical? is it going to cost a fortune to fix it? any suggestion?

The usb cord for my cell phone all of sudden isn't working properly anymore. When I plug in the phone to the pc i can hear it connect but then there's nothing there. A warning or something of that sort did pop out saying something like one of the usb device in my system is malfunctioned. What can I do to correct this problem? Help.

I've been joggin on the treadmill for about 2 weeks now, the first week I jogged at a 4.2 for roughly about 40 mins 5 days a week (although I slow down and walk at a 3.2 at times), well this second week I've increased my speed to 4.7 and burning 500 calories in 30 mins and more so when I do 40 to 45 mins... my question is how long will it take for me to actually notice a change?

I checked myself into a counseling clinic after a second dwi b/c although i'm not a habitual drinker i want to find ways to prevent myself from ever getting in trouble again and/or hurting anyone out there, however after the counselor looked at my assessment she said that at their clinic they only take level 5 (?) and I needed a level 2 at risk program. I told her that I wanted to attend AA meetings and she recommended me not to, why? Every post I go to about dwi (here on yahoo) ppl are always recommending AA so why would a counselor tell me other wise? She did mention something that AA would more than likely force me to believe that I am an alcoholic. She however recommended other programs such as women sobriety meetings, has anyone heard of women sobriety or ever been to a meeting?

Is it normal for a lawyer to not get back to you? I don't want to bother my lawyer everyday in which I DON'T but I had left two messages with her assistant in a time line of two weeks and emailed her once but she's not responding... is this normal? What kind of bother me is when I called to make payments a few months ago she was so quick to calling me back but now it's as if I don't exist. Do anyone have this problem with their lawyers?
