Can you die from a stroke? If so is that a painful way to go?
5 AnswersOther - Health1 decade agohow much would you tell a 12 year old about cancer?
i think it depends on the kid, like you dont want to scare/scar them but i think keeping them in the dark is wrong. 12 year olds understand most stuff i reckon.
so like id tell my brother everything, but my parents are all 'sometimes people get sick so we have to help them get better' THE END and when i point out the flaws in that they either tell me not to talk like that or say 'we'll cross that bridge when we come to it'

7 months ago my drs said they were gonna go after things so agressively that i'd have my lifetime max of radiation. i had 41 rounds of rad. now they want to start it again.
do they just say there's a maximum because after that you risk it CAUSING cancer?

1 AnswerCancer1 decade agohow do you hold a normal conversation when you have cancer?
apologies for the rant in advance, but...
cancer has turned me into such a **** person. half the time im sick of talking about it ("how are you?" "****.") and the other half im sick of hearing other people ***** about their own problems... like hello... i have cancer... stfu about your traffic jam story

3 AnswersCancer1 decade agosometimes i go blank or slur words?
a few people now have told me sometimes i go blank on them for 5-10 seconds but i dont remember it after. they say ill be talking and tthen stare off into space. could it just be a side effect of meds? or like a really short sleep or something? and other times i talk like im drunk when im not... tempted to just GET drunk to make up for it

4 AnswersCancer1 decade agoif someone was sick and wasnt going to get better, is it selfish to want it to end faster?
like i guess inherently it is selfish because it's about what only that person wants... but i mean it's okay/understandable isnt it? how could they explain it to their family?
16 AnswersPhilosophy1 decade agoHave you ever let an EVENT in your life sway you towards or away from a religion?

4 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agowould a bad situation sway you towards God or away from Him?
i dont believe in God, but i do think about it a lot.
eg i have cancer, and sometimes i think id find peace in knowing that i'll be in heaven soon or that He has a bigger plan for me but other times im like fk its unfair, how could there be a God that would let it happen etc
does that make any sense?
