  • power outage bill?

My friend recently caused a power outage and has no homeowners insurance because he rents but the catch is that the person he rents from also does not have homeowners insurance. He was billed for basically causing the power outage but he had tried multiple times to get the power company to remove the dangerous branches. They refused and instead said they were not dangerous. He obviously proved them wrong but the point is he cannot afford this bill. What are his options?

  • Ladies: When did you move in with him?

Ladies: When did you move in with your boyfriend/husband?

I have been with my boyfriend for a year and a half. I moved in with him almost immediately. I own my own house and did not NEED him in any way so don't get the wrong idea. Long story short my house became a ghost town because me and boyfriend couldn't leave each other alone. You know how new love is. I moved friends into my house and feel I have gotten to know my boyfriend well and am pleased with the status of my relationship. The only problem I see is in my past. There are a couple times where I feel I was too quick to move in with a new Beau. Please tell me when did you move in with your guy, and also please tell me if you live in a small town or a city. (I've lived in both and feel relationships develop differently according to location.) I'm just curious. If you want to mention past relationships that would be helpful, too. Obviously they're past relationships because they failed for one reason or another.

    Additional Details

"Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free?" is exactly what my mom says...

I only got two answers so this is a repost.

  • I have a physical ailment that's postponing sex and my boyfriend is looking at a lot of porn?

I have a physical ailment right now that is preventing me from having sex with my boyfriend. (Not an std) So since we haven't had sex lately he is looking at a lot of porn and it hurts my feelings. I know I can't have straight up intercourse... but is that really an excuse for not approaching me to take care of his needs? I'm very insecure. I get that porn has it's place but I didn't reject all possibility of all sexual encounters so I'm not sure what to think. What are your thoughts on this issue of mine? And yes. I snooped through his computer. I'm a girl. I grew up with computers. Deal with it.

  • My boyfriend still loves his ex?

We've been together since summer 2011. That's when we started hanging out and since then I pretty much haven't left his side. The other day the 'me moving in' conversation and he informed me he that he thought I did live with him. I've never thought I lived with him even though I am always there. I have my own house one town over. Point being... I know he still loves his ex girlfriend. She left him a little over a year ago for selfish reasons and even left her own child behind. (Not his kid) She left a huge mess and can't return to this state without fixing it so she is not a threat to me or my relationship, but I KNOW he still loves her. He's admitted it before and he doesn't deny it now. So my questions is: Should this keep me from moving in with him officially? I know he loves me and he is a GREAT guy. Best man ever. I didn't even know they made people this good. Which is why I don't understand how he could still love such a careless person... Obviously my dilemma is deeper than my boyfriend still loves his ex... Please help me by letting me know your thoughts on this matter.

  • How long should I wait before talking to him about moving in?

He's been my boyfriend for about six months but in the entire time I've been with him I have only stayed at my own house 6 or 7 times. I always stay with him. He gave me a house key yesterday which I accepted... he's tried to give me a key twice already but I accepted this time which I know is like a little milestone in relationships. In the past I have moved in with boyfriends too quickly or let them move in with me too quickly. Neither of us want to ruin what we have... That's for sure. We haven't talked about marriage or kids or anything like that but both of us are convinced we've found 'the one' we want to be with forever. I'm already there all the time but have my own space to fall back on and am OK with not having that but don't want to rush him into anything too serious like that too soon. How long should I wait to talk to him about this? Or should I just get it over with? I know this seems like a petty issue but it's been on my mind a lot and I'd appreciate real feedback. Thanks. :)

  • Should I stop making dinner for my boyfriend all the time?

I started seeing this guy 3 months ago and after a week or so of hanging out with him I started eating dinner with him at his house every night. We made dinner together a few times but then it turned into me making us dinner every single night. I am just wondering if I should stop because I don't want him to have extraordinary expectations or enable him to just be lazy and taken care of(for lack of better term) or if it's too soon for me to be doing stuff like this... I REALLY like him and we are in a relationship but I just don't want to do anything to ruin it... at all. I love him and just want to make his life easier but I don't know if I am or if I am just getting in the way? I know there's a lot of questions here... I am seeking honest opinions about me staying with him at his house all the time and making dinner for him. I have my own house but I have only stayed there maybe 5 or 6 times since I have been with him and he was with me two of those times. Too fast? We just can't seem to get enough of each other. I am leaving to spend time with a friend a few hours away for a few weeks because I worry this is happening too fast.

  • The song "Roommates" by Kanye West (featuring Consequence) has a very familiar beat, but I can't figure it out?

It sounds like it's from an old TV show. I'm addicted to this song because I can't figure out where the beat is from.

  • Why don't I get my penny back after 10 gallons?

I get the psychological reasoning behind the 2.20 9/10 of a cent BS. I get that.But... Shouldn't you receive a penny for every ten gallons of gas you purchase? It just seems logical... Your thoughts?
