  • Has my mother got the instant right to defend me in a legal-type dispute when I'm still a minor?

I'm currently in a dispute with my school and the Assessment authority over a case regarding my test. They have been rude to me and abused their authority by trying to intimidate me because of my age. They have sought to confront me because I'm more vulnerable and weaker than my mum within this dispute on an emotional and intellectual level and this case and argument is distressing me. Therefore, my mum has demanded to the assessment authority that all communication regarding the case of mine, be directed to her rather then me. However, the assessment authority have refused my mum's demand because they need to have a written letter from me, authorising mum to get the directed communication to her rather than me, despite my being a minor already at 17 years old. Is it necessary that I write this letter or should they have accepted my mum's demands because I am still a minor and I am distressed by this all? Is my mum allowed to somewhat defend me on my behalf? And if it's necessary to write this letter, why? Isn't giving my verbal consent to her enough?

  • How do I deal with trauma from an accident?

About 10 years ago when I was 7 or so I had a really bad accident which was a stupid mistake on my part. I was going to jump a fence and my feet got caught on the fence and I feel head first into a train sleeper. I was badly injured. I suffered whiplash and I lost my 2 front adult teeth. I immediately went into shock and everything before the accident is so clear in my head but everything after was a bit of a blur.

I had many hours after having work done on my teeth in the dentist, all those teeth and gum specialists and I even had to have surgery on them. I was still very young. I didn't grieve or feel trauma over my teeth then but it only seems this year when part of tooth chipped off due to decay to come over me. My teeth are fine now but it's opened up all this trauma and regret in me. When my tooth chipped I couldn't stopped crying but although I'm getting over the trauma there's still some left. Regret most off all. I talked to my mum lots about it and I've talked to the school councillor about it. What's the best course of action to deal with the rest of the trauma? I really don't want to talk to the councillor about it again at school because her method of helping me deal with it was irritating and I didn't like it because she wanted me to forget about it but I can't, It's not that easy, but if I don't speak to her, who should I talk to?

  • How can I stop treating him like my older brother?

Okay, my older brother recently went to university so I hardly see him anymore but we were really close. We always competed, debated over topics and laughed together and ever since he's been gone I have no one to do that with so there's like an empty place inside me. Anyway, there's this guy I'm friends with who's just a few months older then me and I see him once a week yet he acts so much like my older brother and I can't help treating him like my older brother. Like half the time I get so annoyed and angry (but usually I hide those emotions from him) at him and half the time I laugh and joke around with him. And each day I almost desperately want to see him again because he's like my older brother in how they both act (and have the same first name) I get so frustrated how I miss my brother yet I don't want to treat this guy like my brother. I even get frustrated with him that him and my brother are very similiar. It seems so stupid but what can I do?

  • Is he too good to be true?

I've know this guy for about 6 months. We only see each other once a week at army cadets as we go to different school's. He's popular, good-looking and well respected as a future leader. I am pretty average. There's nothing out of the ordainary about me. Yet He always talks or jokes around with me and always returns my text messages even if we've been chatting for about 2 hours or so and isn't completely up himself like most jocks, He's one of the nicest guys I've ever meet. Sometimes I think it's because he's never with his friends so he doesn't have to maintain his reputuation with me(As he has the same actions and makes the same decsions as what a jock would have.) or he generally gets along well with girls but even still... Why is he my friend when he can probably spend 2 hours chatting to someone else who's way out of my league?

  • How can I stop being so anxious?

Before any kind of club or school sometimes I get so anxious as I don't know what my day will bring, when this happens my energy levels will soar like I have so much. My stomach and head will start to feel weird. When I realise it will be just the same day the anxiety goes away and I'm left with bunches of energy. Seeing as I can't channel the energy into excercise energy(as we have to concentrate) it becomes talking energy. And I talk and talk and talk. It was all okay at first. Everyone found it funny but now everyone's sick of it and I'm getting into trouble for it. I have tried running before school or my clubs but it makes me feel miserable and have lack of energy when I go to school or my clubs. It's all right for when I do high energy sports like netball but when I have to concentrate in other areas like taekwondo or army cadets everyone gets frustrated at me yet they don't want me to quit. It's just I'm sick of getting into trouble. How can I fix my anxiety problem?

  • How can I stay friends?

I have a good friend who I've been doing martial arts with for a while. But recently he has become a house captain. I have a few lessons with him but ever since he's become house captain he stresses out a lot more, he doesn't laugh or listen to my jokes any more, he argues over the smallest of things. He has really changed in a bad way. But I think he's trying a bit too hard with running a house and friendships. Yet he continually says hi to me around school and when he's really happy it feels like he's back to normal but then the next day he's back to his new changed ways. And I barely see him at martial arts anymore as he's too busy. What do I do? Even though it feels like there's nothing I can do. But will it pass, the change?

  • All in the English news?

There were two cases does anyone know anything about them or a good website to go to look them up. I've searched everywhere on the internet.

There was one in the north of England where a monkey was sent to court after a crew in a ship hit the land.

The other one is where a man was sent to court after he commited a crime of a particular sort and he had a choice to be fined or sent to jail yet he said he had a third option. To have a dual with the chief officer.

If you know anything more on these stories please tell me.

  • How do people do the Russian transformation dance?

It's mostly in talent shows and suppose to be a brain teaser for the public. If you see shows like America's got talent or Australia's got talent they are capable of changing their outfits or hair under pieces of material or boxes in just a few seconds with the partner holding up the material and shaking it about. They leave no clothes on the floor only the material they change their outfit behind and they change into beautiful outfits in the way of a dance. How do they do it? It's been on my mind for ages and it's got to the point it irratating to try and figure out. They do it so quick there is no chance they are capable of changing there outfit the normal way. Also what's the proper name for it? A dance like this?
