  • While we all laugh at Harold believers, don't forget that?

Christians STILL actually believe this nonsense. Sure some of them believe it's going to happen a little differently with small details changed, but are they really any better because they simply don't put a date on it? They consistently preach this nonsense nonstop with no evidence and no sign of ever validating their claims. Religious people have been doing this for THOUSANDS of years, in every region across the world with their own version of contradicting religious beliefs, you KNOW they can't all be right when they contradict each other and you KNOW they are not based on any actual evidence.

You KNOW that these people seek power and money while wielding influence over anyone who would believe them because that's all there is to be gained. Catholics, Baptists, Protestants, Shiite, Sunni, Hindu, Judaism, Sikhism, Taoism, and hundreds of others... they're all designed and used as a means of control and power over fellow human beings, and that is their only purpose.

  • We need a creator because we're complex, but..?

god, being for more complex than anything he created doesn't need a creator? Does this actually make sense to the christian mind?

  • Oil rig going up on neighbors property ~200 yards from mine, am I entitled to payment for mineral rights?

I live in Texas and an oil rig has just went up ~200 yards from my property, but they're basically sucking oil out from under property of which I own the mineral rights for around 19 acres, I should be entitled to reimbursement since they're sucking the oil out from under me, shouldn't I?

I checked the deed from 1966 (it's been in my family since then) and the previous owner only reserved "1/4th of 1/8th of all the oil, gas, and other minerals in, on, under or that may be produced from the described property" so I believe I should own the large majority of the rights.
