Ok i have an Intel DG35EC mobo with 8gb (4*2gb) ddr2 and here is my problem. Computer boots to Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit with 2gb, 4gb and 6gb but I put the last 2gb stick in and it hangs on the Windows 7 logo screen. All 4 sticks work (have rearranged them in all slots) all slots work with any stick in them (boots fine as long as all 4 are not in). Computer boots with 4*1gb sticks fine computer boots fine with 3*2gb sticks and 1*1gb stick for 7gb - computer just wont boot with the 4th stick of 2gb in it with 8gb. Have the same mobo in another computer and all 4*2gb sticks boot fine with that computer mobo running windows 7 ultimate 64bit. Just will not boot with this computer. ANy help would be great.

OK here is my problem. Computer worked fine a few weeks ago. I booted it up and the USB mouse and USB keyboard both work on the boot. I can access the bios and change things and save things but when it comes up to the log on screen mouse does not move and keyboard does not work. Yes the bios is USB enabled and everything works find except I cant move the cursor or keyboard does not work only on the sign in screen. Dell inspirion 9100. I have tried 4 different mouse and keyboards and all work great except for on this computer. USB ports work because i can access the bios with keyboard... I have change everything out and disconnected everything..Any help would be great. THanks

I recently purchased Vista Ultimate with both the 32bit and 64bit DVD in them they are 2 seperate DVDs. I have installed the 32bit version of Vista Ultimate on my daughters computer about 4mnths ago. I am still using XP Pro and was wondering if I could upgrade my computer with Vista Ultimate 64bit dvd (i have Q6600 cpu, 8gb ram) I want to use to the fullest extent. But both DVDs seem to have the same COA for the 32/64 bit OS. So can I install the 64bit since it has never been installed. Thanks

My sound within the last few days has went out just on the internet. (videos and music on all internet sites) THe sound works fine playing cds or music already on the computer and all the windows sounds works as well like logoff/logon or any other windows sounds all play and work fine. Its just when on IE on the interent the sound will not work and any site. I can go to the same sites via Firefox and the sound works like it should just not on IE7 and it just started this a few days ago. Its not driver related I have installed the latest and even rolled back to the orginal driver with no luck. No sound seems to be in IE 7 only. I have had IE7 for over 1yr now with no problems at all. OS is XP Pro w/SP2 and all patches. Any help is grateful...Thanks

About 1yr ago I had a program that was free on the internet. If you bring it up and run it it would remove all traces of trial periods. Like if you had any 15day trial program that was on its last day of use you could run this little program and when you restarted the 15 day program it would say 15days remaining. It worked great till my old hdd went out and I re-installed everything and now I can't find anything like it. Any suggestions would help...Thanks

Most answer were good Thanks..But running wire out over 75-100ft outside is not a option. Ethernet is highly conductive of electricity. ESP during lighting storms. I seen too many detached buildings that ran ethernet to them get hit and fry both the detached and main buildings everything connected to the ethernet ie routers, computers and all and most of them were underground and or grounded and still go hit...But thanks for the great answers

I have a D-Link wireless router inside it has 108G with speedboost and a high gain antenna. My workshop is around 75-100ft away and I have a computer out there now. I am using a USB wireless on the computer to connect to the dlink and it works and has 2 bars is there any way to put a router out in workshop also and have it connect to the dlink and I just plug in the computer like being hardwired and get almost 5bars or near the 108 speeds...Thanks

I have a Sony Vaio Desktop P4 3.2Ghz HT 2GB and has been running fine for over 2 yrs and now booting up and getting error message "Abnormal Fan" and then the system shut down. Do you think its either the CPU fan going out or the PSU...any suggestions..Thnks
