Recently I got together with a girl I've been friends with for a long time. Our becoming involved was completely unexpected, but it happened. I played it cool at first because I didn't want to read anything into what had happened because I wasn't sure just how serious she was about me. Had to go out of town and she began sending me text messages saying that she wanted me to hurry home because she missed me. That's not the problem, because I was glad to hear that and my feelings are definitely growing stronger. The problem is that she is "hot and cold", one day she's all about me and the next she's quite stand offish. I haven't told her I love her, but I definitely feel like I'm falling hard. I try not to come on too strong because I don't want to scare her away. Can anyone tell me what to do here? It's been a long time since I've been in a relationship, so perhaps you girls can give me some advice on what you like in a man, e.g. how you want us to act in a relationship.
