I hope you guys know that there is evidence for Historical Jesus. To believe His divinity or not that is up to you, but to deny Him as a historical figure is absolutely ridiculous. To deny Jesus existed, you'll have to deny Socrates and Aristotle also existed, since there is more written about Jesus then those two. My question to you: Why do you keep asking for evidence, but when given to you, you do not accept it?

Atheist assume that if you believe in God, then you deny science. That is just plain dumb! Not every Christian believes the earth is 10 000 years old, not every Christian denies evolution. Actually most Christians do not doubt science but encourage it. So stop all this BS on how we deny science and how Atheists are smarter and more intelligent. If you honestly think intelligence is based of belief, then you have serious insecurities.

My question is this:

Why waste your time on Y/A if you are apparently smarter and brighter then Theists. Theists are out there working, you are here on Y/A? Um.....?

Why do Atheist think that all Christians believe in Creationism. I am a Catholic and I believe in evolution. It's a beautiful way to adapt and survive. Why base your understanding of a faith based on a small group of people who represent a small minority of Christians around the world.

Creationist, instead of looking at Adam and Eve, look at how God actually made us.

He took dirt threw it and made animals. Then he took dirt, blew his spirit, threw it and made humans. So physically we are the same as animals, which is what evolution shows us.

If a Christian like myself, wants to ask an honest question. Why all the hate comments? I get it if my question was trying to disprove atheism or evolution. But if I ask for a verse in the Bible or a question concerning my faith, 90% of the comments are concerning how the Bible is bs. Have some respect, an honest question, deserves an honest answer.

Hey this is a shout out to the Atheists! I read many of you are here to educated us Christians, thank you for caring. I appreciated the effort you put into the information you give us. I respect you even if we do not agree on beliefs. I would like to team up and bring down the people who believe the earth is 6000 years old. I find it silly and ridiculous to try and prove that it's 6000 years old. Evolution is a fact and I am a theistic evolutionist. I feel offended by people calling themselves Christian and posting the most outrageous and pathetic comments.

I agree that religion should not interfere with politics. Next time a Fundy tells you that it should, remind him what Jesus said " Give to Cesar was it Cesar's and God what is God's".

All things said, I ask you return the favor by stop calling Theists and Christians (not Fundies) childish people, if God was really easy to disprove, don't you think someone would of disproved it?

Evolution tells us that proteins were one of the first building blocks of life. So I just ejaculated into a cup and put it on my window side. How long until it turns into homo sapiens?

Why do you love to use American Christians, especially those from the south, as an example of what Christianity is all about? Kinda seems unfair for every other Christian that we are compared to home schooled kids, that think the Bible is a science book.

I am a Christian Catholic, who is open minded to evolution, the earth is 4 Billion years. I know my scientific information and have researched a lot, because it is really interesting but I was wondering why did we evolve to a more intelligent species and not a bigger one? Isn't natural selection based on survival, why intelligence? Where did it come from?

I am curious to get more info on it.

I am a Christian, I am open minded to evolution and I do not believe in young earth. The universe is 13.5 billion years old and the earth 4 billion years old. However evolution has been changed over 20 times since it has been discovered. My question is are we still able to trust it? Or in 20 years it will also change? Same goes for our understanding of the universe, we are soo sure of some facts, but so were people in the past with their theories.

Just pointing it out there.
