Is there a way to know without actually sending a Wink or an email?

I checked the FAQs on the site and found out that names will drop off after 180 days, but I know this person viewed me well under that time frame (more like 30-45.)

On the dating sight Match.com, what does "Block from search" mean? Does it mean that you want to prevent that person from being listed in your search results, or does it mean you want to prevent your own profile from being listed in their search results? Or both?

It's when you have something to say, but you have a brief explanation, or defense, to present beforehand.

I have been dating/talking to this guy since the beginning of December. We are both in our late 30s, both have full time professional jobs and both have kids, so we have very active lives. We only talk on the phone about once a week and have only seen each other probably 3-4 times since we first started going out. We always have a great time seeing each other and talking on the phone, and he tells me so. Our phone conversations average about an hour and it is very easy to come up with conversation the entire time.

We knew each other as children and recently met up again at a reunion, which is when we began to see each other. At that point we were talking 2-4 times a week, and he took me to his work holiday party. Things slowed down around the holidays when he had his kids for two weeks and then was out of town for a week with family. Things never gained their momentum since.

Afraid of being a clingy girl, I always left the ball in his court to make the next move. I only called when I was returning his phone calls, never on my own, etc. Well, I hadn't heard from him in about a week and a half and was a little worried. A friend suggested that maybe he doesn't like that, that maybe he wants me to take more initiative to show interest. So, I called him last night at about 9:00pm. He sounded happy to hear from me and we talked for a couple of minutes before he told me he was at they gym (I heard it in the background.) He asked if I was going to be up for a while, and if he could call me back. I said yes, but I never heard back from him. If he didn't really want to talk, he didn't need to answer in the first place, right? I don't get it.

What is the guys perspective on this? Women, you can, of course, chime in on this too! You can ask questions and I'll fill in details, as necessary.

I am attending a funeral for an old friend and was shocked to learn the the only time for viewing would be in the morning and the funeral would be at noon that same day. The family is wealthy, and when another member of the immediate family died 7 years ago, there were 3 days of viewing before the funeral. Has anyone heard of anything like this before? What could be a possible explanation? I know of several people who are going to miss the viewing and funeral because they cannot get the time off of work.

I bought my 8 gig iPod Touch at Costco yesterday thinking it would hold all the music I had and then some. Well . . . today I realized that I only have 1 gig left. Will Costco let me exchange it for a 16 gig iPod Touch?

I have gorgeous new granite counter tops with plenty of space, but I want to know what I should keep out (i.e. appliances, etc). It is a fairly modern-looking kitchen with stainless appliances and new smaller appliances such as a toaster, mixer, etc. to coordinate. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I should leave out/display, etc. I am not into girly/frilly looking kitchens. Pictures and/or links to websites would be appreciated. Thank you!!

I am looking for a new house to rent and saw something on the application that made me wonder . . . the application asks for contact information for my current landlord. What information can he legally disclose to my potential new landlord? In case it makes a difference, I live in Michigan.

I have several songs in my iTunes library and until recently haven't had any problem adding songs. But recently, I tried adding a few more and when I select the files and click open after selecting "Add file to library..." my iTunes does nothing. I also Try dragging and dropping, and nothing. These songs are the same format that I've always used! Does anyone know what I can do to fix this problem?

I have a bridal shower to attend tomorrow and my roots are growing in (darker hair with gray also). The length of my hair is just below my shoulders, and is reddish brown. It is naturally curly/wavy, but I frequently straighten it. So, does anyone have any ideas as to how I can style my hair tomorrow to hide my roots (which are worst at my part?)
