Negitive... where the dog learns not to do a undersirable behavior through force or physical punishment... there fore not doing the undersired behavior because hes afraid he'll get hurt...

It's a long story- My good friend was in sever car accident 3 weeks ago. The doctors didn't think she would make it through the night. Every long bone in her body including ribs were broken, he spine is fine. Her brain was bleeding on the inside and and swelling pretty big. She waited 11 hours for brain surgery, and the contained the bleeding, and removed part of her skull and put it in her stomach. They said she had a 20% chance of making it through the surgery and a 50% chance she would wake up from the coma that happened the instant the car crashed. She was not driving btw. Since the 2 surgeries on her brain, 3 different bone surgeries, and 2 spinal taps to take out some of the fluid in the brain... She is moving her feet, squeezing peoples hands, can move both arms slightly, and her back a little. Her eyes are open and she looks scared and lost, she does not look directly at anybody but turns her head to people. She does not talk. My question is... will she be permanantly like this

. One of our employees at the petstore I work at was in a serious car crash, to make stories short she will be in the hospital a very long time, and she has no health insurance. So we've put up donation boxes and what not and are setting up a chinese auction at our store, and a dinner down the road to help raise money. Being a pet store, and the place our friend loved to be at, we wanted to have some kind of pet themed, related, or something to that nature fun raiser. Do you have any ideas? Space is no problem so any ideas would be great, all I've come up with is a dog walk. And its the middle of winter here in 25 degree wheather! Thanks is Advance!

At my work we have an ancient yet expensive inventory counter, the only problem is, the connecting serial cord I'm looking for has the larger serial port connector on both ends. I've looked every where and the only thing I can find is the serial port end with a usb or a big serial port to a small one. Does anyone know where I can find a large double sided?? Thanks

Winter is arriving. The last car I had I didn't worry too much about in the winter, it had ABS brakes installed. Well, that car is no longer, and I now have a car that has NO ABS, I drive uphill and down hill on long curvy roads every single day and I'm worried about having no anti-locking-breaks. is there any tips or tricks you could give me about being safe? should i get the snow tire with the studs on them? and I went to Valvoline to get my oil changed and ever since then my car run crappier, i there a good oil I can use for winter?

I answered a question the other day about the new Pedigree commercial, no one likes that they brag about being good food when really it is not. Why is yahoo supporting a dog food brand that has no meat in it? Dog chow has corn, wheat, corn gluten, wheat fluten, bha, bht, byproduct and bone meal.... its allergy heaven. Why can't yahoo answers support a brand because of its AAA rating? Not a brand that pays them. After all, "pets" is here to make a dogs life better, right?
