My Doberman was on a leash and we were walking out of my apt. There was an unleashed dog on my doorstep. He viciously attacked the dog. I could not get him off of the other dog. Eventually, I did and the other dog has major wounds. I don't even know if he will survive. (He's at the vet now.) Do I have any options other than putting him down? My dog has always been very friendly and I think he thought he was protecting me.

I'm trying everything possible; he's trying nothing. We're best friends. Been together 10 yrs total 4 yrs married. He wants nothing to do with me. Will not see a counselor but I am. His father died recently and my counselor thinks he's grieving. I'm at the end of the rope. He's treating me as if I'm not here.

I'm trying to clean them. They were installed by someone for Home Depot. It doesn't look like tools are needed but I can't figure out how to release them from the top. There are two sort of latches at the side and I'm not sure which way they go to release the blinds...if that makes any sense at all.

I am 35 and was diagnosed with panic disorder at 20. I've had panic attacks this whole time. Two years ago I began taking Citalopram. Last Friday, I had blurred and rainbow vision brought on completely instantly. This put me in full panic attack mode. I now have to have a brain MRI Friday and a trip to the ophthalmologist Monday. Has anyone had anything like this? What can I expect?

We go through ridiculous amounts of paper and our building has no recycling policy. Who should I contact? I'm not sure where to begin with this. Thanks.

I have an oven with a downdraft vent leading out through the basement. I've just realized there's cold air coming through it.

I'm a die hard Astros fan and while I'm devastated about the hurricane, the only good to come out of it is seeing the Astros play again. Does anyone have any ideas for a sign? Something to do with hurrricane Ike? I was born and raised in TX and have only been here 3 years. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

We have 2 Dobermans who are 2 1/2 years old. They're very gentle boys. Bo has suddenly begun to have "seizures." He growls but you can see in his eyes that he's "not there." Friday he and Luke got in a fight which Bo started. Bo had to get stitches. Saturday he bit my husband when my husband bent over to get a cup off the floor. Yesterday he bit him when he got off the couch to walk across the room. Like I said, when he does this he doesn't look like he knows what's going on. This morning he was back to my good ole playful little dog.

I think 2 1/2 is way to young to be euthanized. My husband wants him out. Rescues won't take a dog who has bitten people, even if it was twice.

I think that is very personal question. Honestly, my husband and I will probably not have children but I don't think I should have to explain that to people. What do you think?

It's just me and my husband, no children, and I would like to become a vegetarian. Any advice to make it easier? He is supportive of me and I don't want to force it on him so he will still be eating meat but he has agreed to cut out red meat and eat less of everything else.

My Texas flag was outside and it began to rain while I was at work. By the time I got home to bring the flag inside the red had already ran onto the white. What is the proper way to clean it? This is a flag that flew outside the capitol in Austin so I don't want to risk ruining it. Thank you.

What type of promotions (ex: pre/post game concerts, celebrity appearances, special ticket packages) or give aways (ex: bobbleheads, hats, shirts) would grab your attention and make you want to attend a game? I heard loud noises in my house last night, like a gun shot; about an hour apart and about 6-8 times. I awoke to find that my master bath water did not work. The tub doesn't work at all, toilet won't flush, the 2 sinks will run hot water but cold water won't turn on at all. The master bedroom is on a slab whereas the kitchen and guest bath are over the basement and the water is fine with them. Could the loud noises have been related to the pipes freezing? What do I do now? I'm originally from the South and unfamiliar with this Midwest cold!!! Any help would be appreciated.

I have 2 dogs (brothers, Dobermans, one year old) and because they fight I have been advised to get rid of one. How in the world do I choose which one and how will I ever get over the feeling of loss? It is breaking my heart. We've tried everything for them to get along but it's just in their nature to compete to be dominant. Is this the only option? The breeder did not warn us of this or of course we never would have gotten 2 boys. Unfortunately, now I know I should have researched more.
