I am a mother of one toddler son, married to an incredibly tolerant husband. I am also a homemaker, though not a very good one. I would much rather read Jane Austen and putz around online than do laundry...
Two dogs, one house: can I keep the peace or am I in trouble?
I have a 10 yo male silky terrier and just got an 8 week old female German shepherd/shar pei mix. How can I keep these two dogs happy when both show signs of dominance? I'm afraid of the puppy beating up on the terrier as she gets bigger and the terrier not being willing to give up dominance. I'm afraid they won't get along! Right now my terrier is dominant but only because the mix is still so small.

2 AnswersCorporations1 decade agoDog aggression problem?
Today my 7 month old lab mix bit me several times whilI was attempting to pull her out of her crate. She had been in a fight with my other dog, and I put her in there to calm her down. I had called her to come out of the cage and when she didn't I tried to grab her. When I got her out, I had to pin her to the floor because she was so crazy. I'm concerned that my four yr old son may end up the receiver of this kind of aggression. My other dog has NEVER done this. My husband and I both think we may need to give her up. What should I do?

How can I reduce the severity of the tremors without adding another prescription to my list? Would Ativan help? (It's all I have on hand that might have an effect, but I don't like to take it unless I have to.) I need help filling a cup at a soda fountain at Mc Donalds's now.

I feel fine for a while and then every few days I hit a slump. My self image is poor, I'm always tired, and my nerves are completely on edge. Is anyone else going thru this right now? How are you coping?

Did you ever experience milk discharge from your breasts? I'm seeing my dr tomorrow bc my T3 and T4 came back lower than normal, and I've been experiencing breast leakeage for about 2-3 months. My psychiatrist (I have bipolar disorder) thinks it might be from one of my medications--risperdal--but after some surfing online I am no longer so sure that's the case. What do you think?

She's a rescue, and had horrible fleas when I got her. I got dewormer from the vet today. What do I need to do to get rid of any eggs in my house? I know I have to clean the poop in the yard and vacuum the fllors, and wash her bedding, but what about the other stuff? Is there something I can spray on the floors and carseats (wherever she's been, really)?

37 AnswersPolls & Surveys1 decade agoWhat does it mean when a router is trying to use my wireless home server?
Is that a hacker? We've already had major problems with our checking account last week-- someone stole my checkcard/Visa number and has used it to spend $2000 out of our checking account. We've closed the accound and frozen our check cards. We have really good protection software on the computer, and it keeps picking up that someone with a router is trying to access our network. I've blocked the intruder, but they keep trying... We've cleared our password files, cookies, and search histories on the main computer, and the laptop is either off or in sleep mode when not in use. What else can I do?
2 AnswersComputer Networking1 decade agoI'm getting baptized in a baptist church in 2 weeks- how should I dress?
Silly question, given the sanctity of the rite and the symbolism of it, but I haven't been much involved until recently, and I have only seen 2 baptisms (both of them in my childhood) and I really don't know what I should wear...
