When I was 9 I was diagnosed with asthma, though my doctor never ran any tests he just listened to my lungs and said it was asthma. I had 3 attacks in my life, back to back to back years, ages 9-10-11. Ran on medicatioyears next Month). I am NOT lying to a recruiter or MEPS about this, I will NOT lie to the federal government. I'd rather be denied then live a life of a lie. Anyway, Trying for the Navy, if I do not get a medical waiver from them I have 4 other shots with the four other branches right? (Well, more like 3 since I doubt the USCG will give me a waiver as there are all sorts of healthy people trying to get into such a small branch). Anyway, If I was diagnosed at age 9 and stopped taking meds at age 14, would that be a problem? I am going to my doctor on friday to get a Notorized Paper stating that I was diagnosed, listing all the meds I took while I was having symptoms, and a post diagnosis (Him stating that i havent had an attack since I was 13 and havent had any repercussions for it until I was 13-14, now I am almost 19 so I have been off meds for 4 almost 5 years, He is willling to work with me and does not tell me to lie. He said once i get the paperwork, he will fax them to MEPS, along with a statement from me saying my doctors statements are true and that I havent had any sports/allergy/stress related symptoms since.

Does the Navy give waivers for this? What would I have to do to get a waiver? Will any branch give me a waiver for this? What are my chances?

Alrighty for my age group I have to do 62 curl ups and 51 push ups and run 1.5 miles in 11 mins

The running thing is fine, i can do it.

The curl ups and push ups are what gets me here

I can do around 20 pushups before i have to quit, and my curl ups is even less

in dec i weighed in at 304 and now i weigh in at 260

will losing more weight help increase my curl ups? if i lost more belly fat could that help in the increase of them?

and how many of the psuh ups and curl ups do you have to do in the IFA before i can even ship to basic?

I think it was overworked, no pus just deep pits and losing of color
