  • Are there casinos using RFID chips?

When this technology came out I thought it would be perfect for casinos. Place a reader in the tables to monitor your bets. It also makes it more difficult to counterfeit chips. It would help counting chips. Fills would be automatic.

I supposed the reason they don't use this is #1 cost and #2 superstitious customers.

Do any casinos do table games digitally... like you insert a $100 and it give you credit. You enter your bet on a screen... but everything else is normal?

  • Do call a 1.75L bottle of liquor a "handle"?

    Please answer yes/no.

How long you have heard people call it that

and where you are from (where you used the term)

I know it's a regional term... just trying to figure out where it came from and when.

  • Percentage wise how would you distribute a budget for a low end home theater setup?

I realize the distribution of funds would be different if you had only $1,000 to spend vs $100k. So let's say you have in the range of $1,000-2,000 to spend. Assume this system will be used exclusively for TV and Movies.

At the minimum components must include, an AVR (receiver) 5 speakers and a sub. And cables.

Don't include installation, speaker stands, mounts, a TV or shipping... but if you like you can include more speakers, a second sub, calibration tools, additional amps/pres, power conditioners, etc...

  • I need a wireless adapter that works with windows 8.1?

This is for a desktop PC.

The problem is most adapters don't have win 8.1 drivers yet... Some of 8.0 compatible... but I can't find any that I know are 8.1 compatible.

I'd prefer something under $20... But I'd be willing to go up to $40 or so, especially if it's a name brand and/or highly recommended.

    Thanks!
