You say that it is very unlikely that complex, multicellular animals arose from single cells..well I know this is not exactly a good analogy, but if a kid starts from the fusion of two gametes, and this zygote (single cell) matures into a human being , why couldn't the first scenario happen?

You know the kind that will speak against some tenets of their religion but will blindly follow others that are just as questionable, logically speaking. Plus, they will go against some of the things in their religion but they'll pretend it's only because they're broadminded, and then judge others that may go against something else.
