For a few months, Ive been having off and on pains under my ribs on the right hand side. They have progressively became worse. It wakes me up at night, a sensation like a vise squeesing me really hard two or three times in a row, making it impossible to breath. Ive woken up from a dead sleep, sitting upright and nearly yelling out from the sensation. Tonight has been the worst so far. I cannot sit up or stand up straight. I cannot lay down without extreme pain. It hurts to breath in and out and it feels like its spreading over to the left side. I am waiting for my husband to come home so I can go to the ER but I was wondering if anyone had any idea what could be wrong.

Galbladder has been removed several years ago (its always been sore in this spot since then)

I have had hep. A in 2002 (Note: wash hands if you eat at farmers markets)

I have been having pretty bad swelling in my left foot and ankle (Doctor said its nothing to be worried about)

Last blood work done a few months ago when this started and I went to go see the doctor, Said my liver enzymes were elevated and they did an ultrasound and bloodwork, but its been a call tag game to get the results back yet.

Does anyone have any Ideas?

We adopted a cat and were told she was spayed. Clearly not now that she is showing a pregnancy a month after we got her. Ive never owned a cat before and wasnt planning on kittens. Swagger, is im guessing, 7-8 weeks into pregnancy. Her belly is big and round and you can easily feel the kittens kicking and rolling inside of her belly. Her nipples are enlarged, pink and the back two can be expressed, the two glands up from those are filling, but nothing comming out yet. There is no discharge yet from her "lady parts" but it does seem slightly enlarged. She has not been seeking out anywhere to nest. at all, just lays sprawled out on the back of our couch sleeping all day.

From experienced cat breeders, or those who have seen a lot of kittens being born... How far does my cat sound along to you?

I have a 13 yr old female U2.

I bought her mid summer.

She is a previous show bird, fully feathered, well adjusted and a complete cuddle bug. Previous owner kept her on seeds and Ive been able to switch her fully onto zupreen fruity pellets with maybe half a hand full of seeds. For the 6 months ive had her, she has refused fruits and veggies 3x a day and I still offer them. She does not play with toys or chew them. (they are offered)

Over the past 3 weeks she has developed a habbit of taking her left foot and gripping either her tail feathers or her left wing, and twisting it around the feathers. Half of her wing feathers are completely destroyed now and her tail is getting there. She does this when I put her back in her cage for bed, all other times she is with me or playing on her jungle gym.

I am at a loss on what to do. Ive never had a bird destroy their feathers in this way before, and dont really know how to get her to stop when she is doing it at night. Any experienced cockatoo owners out there have any suggestions?

I have a 13 yr old umbrella cockatoo named Zoe. For the last several years she has picked up a habbit I can only describe as "gooing". She normally does it when she is chillin' in her cage or nice and relaxed while spending time with me. She has seen an avian vet every 6 months for checkups, and i never brought it up and the vet never said anything was wrong with her.

She sits and plays with what looks like a big string of spit, making chewing motions and then opening her beak up wide and making a soft hissing noise, like shes hacking up more spit.

Does anyone else's birds do this behaivior? Please include websites if you can find anything.

I am 25. F.

Experiencing chest discomfort in the middle of my chest between my breasts. Feels like a fullness or someone sitting on my chest. This discomfort travels straight through to my back right under my right shoulderblade where it turns into pain. My stomach is hurting, right above my belly button. My feet and ankles are swelling and my left arm and face keeps going numb. I feel faint, almost like my whole body is just numb to everything. I have that whole "Something just isnt right" feeling.

My doctors office is out to lunch, and the pain in my belly is about unbearable. Ive gone to the hospital before for this pain and they just send me home saying they cant find anything. Has anyone experienced this, or suggest what to do? I can wait another half hour for the dr. office to open, or drive 45 minutes to a hospital.

And its not gallbladder issues, had that removed 5 years ago.

Situation: Both of us are unemployed and have been for the last two years. At first it was the job market, we moved into the basement apartment of his mothers home. We have 4 children. I get an unearned income of 1200/month to support us.

I am unable to work due to medical conditions, more than an hour or two upright causes me severe pain.

I have asked and asked and asked nicely for 2 years for him to get another job so we can move out and stop paying for his mother and 5 of her grandchildren she has pushed off on us. Our vehicle broke down a few months ago, so now husband uses the excuse "Well, I dont have a car so I cant get a job. and I need money to get a car."

His mom is willing to let him use her car, but he refuses.

his day is spent playing online games every minute of his day. Im at the end of my rope. I dont know what to do. I find jobs for him to apply to, places to call, and he wont do it and im not about to fill everything out for him.

I am fed up with my childs school and will be withdrawing them immediantly after an incident last week with my kindergarteners teacher. I asked for my child to be moved to a new class or school district since MANY people have had problems with the same teacher and I was told by the principal "I dont think moving the child is the right choice" and the superintendant said there was no open enrollment. My choice is either homeschool or Move. We are in the process of moving (in 3 more weeks) Ohio connections academy is an free online public school. Will enrolling my child in this be considerd the same as home-schooling? Ive look everywhere I can online and cant seem to find the answer to that.

On the 21'st, I received a call from the school about my youngest son who is in kindergarten. They said he had a Flea in his hair and needed to be brough home and given a nice clean bath and be flea free. We brought him home, could not see any flea in his hair but proceeded to do as the school instructed. Now, Living in the midwest (ohio) this time of year can be hell if you have a dog. Fleas are horrible and flea meds can barely keep them off our dog... none the less, I sprayed, washed the dog, treated the carpets.. everything to make sure this didnt happen again. Today I got a call from CPS, concerned about a flea infestation in my house. I am completely floored by this. My son has no flea bites, fleas or anything on him. we keep a clean house. We have had problems with this certain teacher before.. and I want my children transfered out of that school to a different one. I went to the principal today to ask about getting my son put into another school nearby and she brushed me off, saying that transfering my children is not the right answer for this situation. I left and went back home.

I just want my kids out of that school and into another city school close by. I dont really know what my rights are or who to call to get this taken care of. Anyone have any suggestions?

Okay.. Ive hear of this happening, but never thought I would be going through it. I havent had a period since september 10th. I have taken 3 tests since the begining of october. 2 have been negative and 1 was faint line(second test). This should put me around 16-17weeks if I am pregnant.

I have been feeling flutterings along my pelvic bone line to midway to my belly button and tender breasts. I dont mind if im pregnant, but I have a tendancy to have very very bad braxton hicks. last night I would feel in my lower tummy a stretching sensation and it made me think of having them again. I will be making an appointment next week since ive been feeling these things over the weekend.

HOWEVER...

I know people can have false negatives. Has this happened to anyone 3-5 months along? does hgc diminish over time? If you have any links to occurances like this, it would be REALLY helpful.

My congo has a chip off of her beak, like part of the outer layer just flaked off near the tip. Ive heard this could be from lack of Vitamin A?

Last winter, my fiance had started to ignore me for online games and his xbox... Over the summer I had become his personal pleasure object, giving him whathe wanted when ever he needed it. Now im a seasoned mother of 4... had midwives/ob's with all 4 of my children. 1st child was 2 weeks late. 2cnd was right on time. 3rd was 5 weeks early with 3 weeks preterm labor. 4th was 6 weeks early with braxton hix/preterm from 18 weeks.

i live about 2 hrs away from any doctor and im self pay so i dont want to waste a trip to the E.R. to find out im pregnant. I was on mirena (loved it btw) until it fell out in late june resulting in painful cysts and PID. I took all neccisarry meds and got better with 2 periods exactly 30 days apart. the last one was on September 10th. until a week or so ago i had tested for every three days for pregnancy with no +. three days ago i started feeling something every hour or so really low in my abdomen. my 3rd and 4th i could feel move like im feeling now around 10-12 weeks. nothing major but i know what the feeling is. Anyways... today ive been feeling a lot of a 'pulling/tightening' feeling around 4 or 5 times an hour directly under my pelvic bone.

My question is this... is it possible to get braxton hix/ contractions this early if i am pregnant? there isnt any abnormal discharge/blood/mucas that ive seen, should i be concerned?

and yes, i do have afternoon sickness, im tired, breast are tender, ready to bite hubbys head off at every second...

I have a 200lb-ish minuature mare. not bred. driven 1-3 miles everyother day and 7 miles on saturdays. she has been on pasture and kept her weight fine. As the winter comes and this will be the first year she is at my own house, im buying hay for the first time. What is the percentage to her weight i should feed her a day, and does this change if i add in some grain with oil twice a day. Ive looked on the internet and i get a lot of conflicting results. I was wondering if there is a way I can make my own harness pad for my miniature horse. I know i would need a 1 inch padding, some fleece, velcro for the straps. Has anyone ever made their own harness pads? would hot glue do the trick to bring it all together with added stitching on the straps, or will i need to break out the sewing machine?
