The video shows quotes from watchtower publications regarding rape. How do you feel about the way the religion treats rape? Do you agree that a victim should be kind and understanding towards the rapist? Or that the victim is guilty of Pornea if they are unable to scream during the assault? Is there biblical basis for elders to take no action if the rapist denies the crime and there was no 2nd witness?

I have been told that huge reductions are being made in bethels around the world, construction being stopped, and many special pioneers and bethel volunteers being sent home under the guise of being "reassigned" as regular pioneers. Also that publications are being reduced. And all of this happening after headquarters drained congregation bank accounts around the world for the given purpose of building kingdoms halls. What happened?

I have noticed that witnesses refer to the jehovah as witness religion as The Truth. As in "How long have you been "IN THE TRUTH?" Or "I ve been "I VE BEEN IN THE TRUTH" for 10 years" Is "The Truth" another name for jehovah witnesses?

Today seems to have gone horribly wrong for the JWs during the Australian royal commission when WTBTS was caught in a lie...they said GB member G. Jackson only handled translations...minimizing his role as a GB member in an attempt to prevent him from having to testify. Why would they do this when they have seen that the rc means business? How does this make you feel?

The link takes you to download a pdf scan of the wtbts instructions to the branch service desk on the handling of child sex abuse, including the accused. This is not apostate material, this come from the branch and was provided to the Australian royal commission by the wtbts branch. The instructions in this book show that not only are child molesters not always disfellowshipped, but may also be appointed as elders. What are your thoughts on these directions from wtbts?

If jehovah witnesses collectively stood together and demanded transparency with use of donated funds and changes to harmful policies that have led to the child sex abuse crisis, they could cause change! Why don't jehovah witnesses demand this from their leaders?

Much information has been provided by the branch to the rc courts showing that child sex abuse was not properly handled by the jehovah witnesses. Is this causing any concern among the witnesses?

Also the video to kids showing them donate their icecream money? And the monthly congregation amount pledged to go to headquarters?

Recently I viewed one of several talks from the 2015 conventions that have started. I am very curious about the experience talk shared in the linked video.

Many active witnesses on this and other sites strongly deny the extent of shunning that takes place towards former members, either by dissassociation (voluntarily leaving the religion) or by being Costello as hipped. I have asked about this before, as have others, and most active jws deny that the shunning happens, even saying they can still have relationships with family, etc. who are no longer witnesses...please review this clip and share your thoughts. Recently the jehovah witnesses purchased a large luxury apartment community is fishkill newyork. This is just 1 of many luxury real estate purchases made by the society recently. Why are they spending so much money on properties such as this?

Recently a governing body commented that apostates use the news to spread lies...and many think this was a premptive way to counteract this news segment. What do you think of this news segment, as well as the increasing negative press jws are getting due to the societies 2 witness rule?

Some religions claim to be spirit directed by God, to be God's chosen organization on earth... Do you think this is true or is believing in God a way of life that requires no organization? Or something else?

I am confused because many here have said that Jehovah's Witnesses don't discourage college, but the recent jw TV Internet broadcast had a governing body member that discouraged college... So what is the real jw stance on college?

Today there have been articles about the new earth like planets discovered. It is fascinating stuff. What are the implications of multiple earth's being found... What I'd they're is life on these planets? Does that change the idea that we are special to God? Or will Paradise earth be on another earth?perhaps one of the giant ones to for all the people?

There have been several cases worldwide, with many many more on the way. So why won't Jehovah's Witnesses demand change? Why do so many ignore or downplay the issues when they could force change by coming together and demanding the leaders change policy? Who do millions stand by when the very reputation of what they believe is is God's earthly organization?

This story details a situation of child sex abuse by a jw elder. There are so many cases like this now coming to light. How do you think the average jw will respond as more of these cases come to light? Will many still try to to say that this is persecution against Jws or that this is the work of satan? Do you think Jws read these stories or do they ignore them?
