  • Straight Talk Cell Phone Service Is there "Limits"?

I'm thinking going to Straight Talk for a cell phone service provider with the "bring your own phone" option, but I read somewhere that there are limits to data usage. Basically what I saw was you can't use the phone for video/music streaming from say Youtube, and if you do there's a chance they will kick you off of their service.

I was wanting to know if this is true, I really like Straight Talk for their $45/mo plan and coverage, it defiantly beats the other providers that charge a minimum of $80 for the exact same service. And is there anything else that I may need to know about Straight Talk? I know that I need a GSM phone for AT&T's networks (the only service that works in the area).

And, with the Straight Talk Sim Card, it makes it sound like you can use any AT&T unlocked or locked phone, so I was looking at an older-but still good AT&T Samsung Eternity A867 (GSM), would it work with this phone?

Thanks, I'm not really into cell phone tech, so any advice you can provide would be appreciated.

  • What is the fastest growing fruit tree (youngest tree to produce fruit)?

I've been doing a lot of yard work on an 11 acre piece of property that I hope to have a house on in a few (1-2) years. Its fairly vacant except for a few old apple trees and an Asian pear, so I was planning on putting a few fruit trees there and I would like them to be producing next year or sooner if possible. The yard has basically every type of soil, there's a wetter almost marshy area, there's an area that's so dry grass can barely grow, and there's a middle level that's "just right" for most things. I'm in the more southern part of zone 6 in WV.

I know dwarf trees are faster, so I was planning on 1 semi-dwarf peach (Belle of Georgia), and a plum Blue Damson dwarf or a or Santa Rose looked nice to me. Is there any trees that would grow in zone 6 that would produce faster than these assuming I buy the largest of of the select tree I can find from Walmart/Lowes/a nursery? I'm impatient to say the least.

Don't mention apples please, there are already a few of them in the yard. I already have a few bush/vines coming in from a nursery (4 grape vines, 4 Nanking cherries, a Russian Mulberry tree [it was on sale...], and I have some strawberries that I will probably bring up when they start running this year.) I am/was also considering some Hardy Kiwis since there something I haven't seen before. So, there's no need to mention anything besides trees, I'm set for vines and bushes.

As a second question I think I should ask while I'm here, my dad has a cherry tree in his yard he planted about 16 or 17 years ago, its just about to start blooming, but it has NEVER has a cherry on it. Last year it came closest with about 5 cherries staying on it and falling off about 2 weeks later. I'm not sure what cherry it is, but does anyone have any tips for this? Its far older than it needs to be to produce, it looks healthy, but I can't say for sure.

  • Methods to catch Sculpin (Muddlers) in creeks?

    Hello,

I'm trying to get two or three Sculpins (aka Muddlers) out of my local creek to put in an aquarium. I'm trying to use a standard wire mesh minnow trap, last night I just ended up with 7 minnows and 5 crayfish. Can anyone tell me a bait that would work in a minnow trap to catch them?

Alternatively, can anyone give some methods other than seining and actually fishing to get them? The waters not the cleanest, so I'm not wanting to walk in it. Plus its getting fairly cold with the time of year. I don't want to fish for them (with a hook) because I've done that before with fish then they have the hook hole visible (not ideal when you want them for an aquarium).

The most effective method I have seen to getting them is using a bright light and net to catch them at night, but the only place thats not overgrown by the creek is directly beside a church (not a good place to prowl at night).

    Thanks.

  • Choosing a New Computer?

    Hello,

I'm in desperate need of a new computer, my current one is on its last legs (6yo dell), it can't even locate its own Optical drives anymore (yes I attempted to re-install them, they just don't work). I was looking at parts to build a computer, but after seeing so many people complain about DOA parts I think I'll just waste the extra bit of money for a pre-built one.

Purpose of the computer's mainly entertainment and mid-core gaming, Runescape, Guild Wars, and Guild Wars 2 when its out, plus whatever is of interest. Plus college work which is extremely tedious on my antique dell. Price w/o a monitor's needing to be right around $800, and my main 2 companies I'd buy from are Dell and HP (I'd love Alienware, but its 2k).

I built these on the Dell/HP sites, there about the same price, but they each have some things the other doesn't that I would like.

    HPE400z series

Operating system Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

    Price= $808.99

What the HP has the Dell doesn't: As far as I can tell a slightly better graphics card, duel layer optical drives (not available on the dell), the 15-1 front card reader, 15 months of Norton.

What the Dell has the HP doesn't is the 6X AMD, the 1T HD, and a 2 year service plan.

There pretty evenly matched, I'm thinking the Dell's the slightly better choice, I don't need a card reader that much and the dual layer optical drive just makes things a tiny bit easier. The thing that worries me most about the HP is the Service Plan, as far as I can find unless you pay an extra $110+ there's no warranty if parts break, (I had a computer awhile back that fried after about 1 month). And does anyone know which graphics card is better and by exactly how much?

    Thanks,

  • Freezing Vs Drying Vs Canning Hot Peppers (Habanero)?

    Hello all,

I have been growing multiple types of peppers this year (first time) and I'm needing to know the best way to preserve them. I have two 1 gallon freezer bags full of Orange Habaneros, a sandwich bag full of Cayanne, and a lot of Red Habanero, Tobasco, and Ghost on the way. These are all in the "hot" variety so I want to keep them in the way that preserves there heat the BEST.

Simplified question: What is the best way to preserve hot peppers and keep there heat? Freezing, Drying, Canning, other?

I'm kind of running extremely low on freezer space...So if freezing is the best way whats the 2nd best way?

    Thanks all.

  • What is the best cell phone co. (no contract plans)?

After 2 years I am finally getting off my AT&T contract, and I'm looking to get a new one that has more than the 450 roll over mins that I got on it for $45 per month. In the last year or so, a few company's emerged offering no contract plans that have unlimited (or close to) talk/text/web for between $25 and $50. I live in West Virginia so no phone gets 100% coverage, your kind of lucky to get 50%...The voted "best" coverage by everyone I have spoken to says Sprint has the best coverage, but its still one of those "$45 for 450 mins" people so I was looking at the cheaper following peoples:

Smart Talk: Walmart.com says there's no coverage at my home, but there is where I would be using it more. Price: $45 for 30 days, unlimited everything, or $30 for 30 days, 1000 mins, 1000 text and 30mb data.

Boost Mobile: There coverage map isn't very good, at least as far as I can tell. Price: $50 for unlimited everything.

Virgin Mobile: The one I think I like the most (they have the best phones of the 3), Their coverage map says there's a little coverage at my home and where I would be using it most of the time looks to be fairly covered. Price: $25 Unlimited everything except minutes (300 mins), or $40 Unlimited everything except mins (1200 mins), or $60 Unlimited everything. I think that's right, let me know if its not.

Last option, Net10, I really don't understand how there bills work, they have a price, but I can't figure if it includes text/data and everything or what.

In short, what are the Pros/Cons of each of those companies? They seem to have about the same coverage, Boost Mobile being the worst.

    Thanks everyone.

  • Best Computer Brand/System for value (under or around 1k)?

I'm looking to get a new computer in about 2 months (for my b'day) but I'm having trouble trying to find the one I would like. I'm having a few difficulties, one I'm trying to keep it below $1000, more like $850 would be nice. I've looked at Dell mostly, due to my almost 6-year old Dimension 4700's been good to me for the most part, though if I can get more for the money from a different brand I'm not complaining. .

My main purposes for the computer are games (Runescape, Guildwars, Unreal, Farcry), movies, and music which my current computer does fairly well on low-medium settings, but it being 6-years old its been getting some irritating problems which I "can" fix for awhile, but they come back after a few days/weeks so I'm tired of fixing them...And windows 7 looks nicer than Xp, plus I've been avoiding some things because my computer just can't handle it...

Current computer's running on Windows Xp Sp3, 2GB Ram, 81GB Hard Drive. Busted floppy drive (who cares) and a really glitchy CD Burner.

I just built this one on dell.com to see how much it would cost, its not bad, the only thing I really feel isn't what I want is probably the Video Card.

    Network Card Integrated 10/100/1000 Ethernet

    Adobe Software Adobe® Reader 9.0

Let me know what you think of that one.

Main answers I'm looking for are as follows:

    1. What Brand is best for their price (Dell, Hp, Alienware, etc)?

    2. Which system is best for value (xps, Dimension 4xxx, etc)?

    3. Recommended specs (is 8GB of ram really helpful, quad processor vs duel)?

    4. Whenever it inevitably gets a problem can I just keep everything on my 1.5TB external Hard Drive and restart it from factory, or will that have some disadvantages?

    5. Anything you would suggest that I didn't mention?

Oh, and I want a desktop...I really hate laptops...I already have a nice monitor, so I really don't want something that includes one..

  • Most agile everyday cars (no super-cars)?

    Hello all,

I'm thinking of trading up for a better car, and I was wondering what are the most agile everyday cars out there used for under $15k or close to it? When I say agile I mean can take corners without having to hit the brakes, enough power to come out of the corners as fast as you went into them, and so on. Two examples would be Mitsubishi Lancer Evolutions and Subaru Impreza Wrx Sti's.

Please don't mention cars above 15k used ($15,999.99 is accepted), nor trucks or SUV's, no such thing as an agile SUV....

    Thanks to all,

  • Svchost.exe running at 300k cause is CTF Loader?

    Hello all,

I've recently been having computer difficulties, well, a lot of them I should mention. Back around 2 weeks ago I got the horrible Internet Security 2010 Adware/Maleware virus thing. After hours of work I finally removed it, or I thought (I missed 1 thing and had to redo it). After that I decided to back up everything with an External Hard drive (Seagate 1.5T). Well, after this, I began experiencing extreme lag on my computer with one of my Svchost.exe files running at 300,000+kb which is a lot without saying.

After some paying attention with my "System Mechanic" program, which allows me to turn un-needed programs and application off, I noticed when the app named "CTF Loader" kicks in I experience the troubles. I have done a little research, it seems that specific thing is normally used to run things from Microsoft Office (which I don't have, and things related to the language bar). Using the MSCONFIG option you cannot turn it off at startup, and my Mechanic only suppresses it for awhile and it kicks back in. I think, but I'm not sure it has been corrupted by the IS2010, but I'm not sure how to fix it, and it is becoming a real problem.

    All help is greatly appreciated.

    My OS is:

  • I just finished removing Internet Security 2010 and keep getting different infections?

Hello, as the title says I just finished removing the Adware/spyware/whatever which is the new big baddy in the computer world I understand. After removal everything was doing fine, but my computer has picked up 2 infections since then which displays a warning "something error, this file is infected" and another warning that said I needed to get virus protection (I have anti-virus, anti spyware, 2 firewalls, and some other junk).

Can anyone tell me what I can do to get these to stop coming?

  • Performance parts- Cold air intake and Exhaust (and more)?

    Hello all,

You may have seen some of my other questions, but for now disregard them. I am currently driving an 04 Hyunda Tiburon (Auto). Yea, yea...I know its kind of slow...., but i'm here to work on that. I have looked at some cold air intakes, along with exhausts, but some of the descriptions and prices have confused me some. There will be a few links, all going to ebay.

Regarding this Cold air Intake, its only $24 (plus shipping) which makes me think its not nearly as effective as the higher $200+ ones, but how much less of an output does it have? Link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/03-04-05-HYUNDAI-TI...

Now, I am fairly sure to may next question I already have an answer, but I have to confirm it. With an exhaust, I am looking at just the muffler, and it states "Adds additional 5-10 horsepower" But, I feel it would have to be a full exhaust swap. Links (1= Muffler, 2=Exhaust):

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Hyundai-Tiburon-Acc...

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/02-03-04-05-06-HYUN...

Also, what are some other cheap "bolt on's" that will either help gas milage, or not effect it? Adding performance is my main goal, but i'm not wanting to drop to like 15mpg or lower. I have seen "performance chips" but I have also heard they really do nothing and are a pain in the --- to install having to remove the dash and other various parts. I have also been told that a "shift kit" would help me out since its an auto, whats a standard price on one of these, and what exactly do they do?

Thanks to everyone, I may add more info later on,

    ~Mortaltirant~

P.S. I'm not going to mess with any body kits, I may change my rear one b/c it has a crack in it, but other than that I like its appearance.

  • Need advice tuning an 04 Hyunda Tiburon (Tuscani) Automatic transmission?

    Hello,

I have had my 04 Tiburon for around 2.5 years now, it being my first car. Now I'm 20 and I'm tired of its low performance, but still satisfied with its control/handling. As stated in the title, the car is automatic, so some people think its pointless to do any mods to it.

Personally I would like a new faster car such as an Impreza, Evo, 350z, 99 Eclipse/talon AWD, 240sx, etc. But there rare, expensive, hard to insure, and fairly old, plus my Tiburon being my first car its kind of hard to part with. Currently I'm paying around $165 per month on insurance, which isn't all that bad compared to the 250+ that most pay for Mustangs.

Now anyway, I'm looking for a way to get the most out of my Tiburon for the least price, the parts that will give the best boost for my buck. I know Tiburon are frowned upon by the "tuner community" but I'm just wanting to have some fun for myself. I'm not looking to "deck it out" with 600hp or anything, just get it better than its 172hp and less torque.

And, I don't want to decrease its gas-milage much since its already sub-par at 18mpg city.

To clarify, an auto can be tuned well, I have seen a few that run extremly well while still looking good. A link is below to give an example of a nicley tuned one.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yP1XV-mxgHU&feature...

Please, if you only have negitive comments "Hyundai Sucks!," just do us all a favor and press Ctrl+F4.

To all that try helping, Thanks,

    ~Mortaltirant~

P.S. The only body mods I will make if any would be a new front bumper (the 04 to the 06 one), and a new rear b/c previous owner backed into a car leaving a lisence plate outline on it.

  • Whats a good option for a CHEAP fairly fast car (Used) and moderately reliable?

*****Note: Alot of information, try to atleast read most of it******

    Hello all,

I have once again been looking around on the internet (again) for some nice cheap cars I may be able to buy in the near (or far) future. I currently drive a 04 Hyundai Tiburon GT, it is really lacking on the performance side of things, but its appearance is utterly flawless (aside from some minor scratches and paint chips from rocks). It has been a good car, but I know it won't last forever, plus as stated its fairly slow so I would either like a 2nd car or to replace it all together.

The tiburon is a V6 172hp 130ish ft lb torque low output car. 2 door, leather seats with a moon roof, Infinity sound system, 15' scraped rims (previous owner couldn't drive), and plastic interior. I am going through out this tiburon rundown so you understand it IS a good car, but for the next one I want something better.

Now for my living area and activities. As for location, I live in a small town in West Virginia (no, i'm not a hillbilly, but there all around), and as I suppose most people know WV is known as "The Mountain State." This is a literal statement, out roads are 85% narrow winding paths converted from old Wagon roads (what my father has Always told me). Weather conditions vary during the year, from desert drought, to floods, ending in blizzards.

Myself, I rarely do anything other than go to college come home and occasionally go around to the few stores with my friend, thats car-related activities, and a job most likley by the time I actually get the new used car.

My main wants for a car are a high output motor with decent horsepower, very responsive controlls, nice torque for a nice gas-to-engine feel, and it has to be an okay car stock AKA runs nice with no aftermarkets, although I may add some eventually. Appearance isn't very concerning to me, but there's a point that won't be passed. The cars uses will be ofcorse the average every day erands and trips, along with possibly some racing if they open a track up, if its built for it maybe some off-road rally racing, if it AWD/RWD maybe some offroad drifting. Plus just going over the speed limit to show off to myself, no-one else than me. It needs to seat atleast 2, which is done by pretty much every car.

    My main car wants:

    06/08 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution

    06/08 Subaru Impreza WRX STi

    03+ Nissan 350z (any base)

    Cars I DO NOT WANT:

    Another Tiburon or anything Hyundai

Civic, I know there popular, but I really dislike them

    Cobalt (I literally loath these)

    Ford Focus

Most other things are fine. As stated earlier, it needs to be fast, faster than my tiburon (134 max, 0-60 in 7 second, that really isn't good) and about the same control. Gas milage isn't much of a concern, just stay around the 18mpg mine does (or better). Chances are I will get multiple people recommending Mustang's, in all honesty I wish I got one instead of my tiburon, my friend has a base model one, he likes it but claims it is extremly hard to control on sharp curves.

Now, if you have managed to make it this far I am surprised, it is finally time for a price range. Now, as a price range I cannot be extremly accurate since I do not know when I will/if I will get a car at all. What I expect would have to be -5k if I don't trade my tiburon, 12-14k if I do trade. I look through the "Auto Trader" sales paper that is distributed occasionally, there's a few cars for 1000-3000 that aren't bad, so possibilities are all around me.

    Thanks greatly to everyone,

  • Nice BUDGET Magic the Gathering Deck MTG-Needing Help.?

    Hello all,

Once again, I have questions for loyal yahoo-answerer's. Today, not concerning the standards stuffs, I am looking for a solution to my Magic the Gathering deck problem.

Okay, my problem to begin with, I currently have quite a few starter decks, and quite a few cards from Conflux/Alara Reborn. The problem is, the ones I currently have really don't play too well together. I along with my friends are working slowly on our own Magic decks, I think I'm in the lead to completion although I want to completely rework it.

This deck, as I know people are going to ask is completly for Friday Night Magic, no block's or anything all that special although keeping things 8th Ed+ would be helpful to myself.

Two decks I have had a little thought over along with posted on Pojo.com (very few responses) are as follows:

    Standard White/Blue Counter:

    Deck: 60

    Creatures:16

    2x Clone

    2x Wall of Reverence

    2x Wall of Denial

    2x Ethercastle Knight

    4x Battlegrace Angel/Serra Angel

    4x Plumeveil *need something better*

    Spells:16

    2x Austere Command

    2x Hallowed Burial

    4x Path to Exile

    4x Broken Ambitions

    4x Remove Soul

    Lands:24

    12x Plains

    12x Island

    Artifacts:4

    x2 Armillary Sphere

    x2 Whispersilk Cloak

That deck is just to try keeping the opponets field in check until I can finish them off (hopefully)

And, here's the newer deck I was looking at:

    Blue/White/Green Exalted

    4x Akrasan Squire

    4x Rhox Charger

    4x Sigiled Paladin

    4x Jhessian Infiltrator

    2x Battlegrace Angel

    2x Court Archers/eathercastle Knight

    2x Rhox Warm Monk

    2x Stoic Angel

    2x Clarion Ultimatum

    4x Broken Ambitions

    4x Path to Exile

2x Hallowed Burial (One day I may get Wrath)

    8 Island

    8 Plains

    8 Forest

    (Maybe Seaside Citadel)

I have 1 Nobel Heirarch that I could also put in. The main problem I would have making the Exalted deck is the normal desire of higher priced Land cards, but I just can't spend 5-15 dollars per land.

I am still open to more decks, those are just things I was thinking over. I have few cards for either of them, although I do have 3 Path to Exile and the two Hallowed Burial's already so yea....I'm not really pickey for the color except I DO NOT WANT BLACK. Blacks tend to be pricey which goes against this whole question.

Thanks to all people that try to help

    Mortaltirant

P.S. I'm not giving a specific Budget, hopefully try keeping it under 20-30 dollars. Or give things like "Wrath of God/Hallowed Burial" deals, something thats cheaper and works just as well.

  • Looking for Tips: Building Muscle (Upper Body)?

    Hello all,

Once again, I approach Yahoo answers, and its wise community for some assistance. This time, I seek advice in the weight lifting or exercising department. I am currently 200 lb's dressed, guessing about 190-195 not, I have a body style much like a wrestler (the fake television one) or a boxer without the muscle. And, I am not fat, maybe a little lose skin from the 60-70 lb's I dropped a few years back. Age if it makes much difference is 19.

I have been weight lifting a little bit over the past month or two, when weather allows normally, but I seem to see little to no results (I know it takes awhile to see muscle mass, but strength should increase a tiny bit I expect). The equipment I have for doing so consist of an old exsercising bike, a "Horizon SXS 5.7 http://www.horizonfitness.com/products/strength/sx... ," a punching bag although I would prefer not to use it/hang it up (messed up the rafters), a bungie cord thing, an open place for sit ups, push ups etc, and "some" weights (they're kinda destroyed).

I currently am trying to eat "right" or something along the lines, mostly being sandwiches (100% lean ham, mustard, lettuce, tomato, cheese). Plus the smart choice meals, I am not sure if those are actually "smart" but thats why I'm here. One flaw, I cannot do without soda (pepsi specifically), switching to diet seems to be worse, as I have read it has a reverse reaction in return causing a weight gain.

So, for what I'm looking for, is really what I should try to do daily, or every other day, a sample of what to eat throught the day. The main focus I want is an increase of strength/muscle mass on the arms and chest, 6 pack's kinda out of my goal atm, a way to firm lose skin from my perciously mentioned weight loss, and if possible an increase in agility/flexibility. I'm going for a martial art's style body (Bruce Lee style).

All help is appreciated and definatly needed, I have free time to do quite a bit, I just get discouraged from having no idea what I should be attempting to do. I have checked websites, but I have never found a place agreeing with another. I feel I am leaving something important out, if I think of it I will add it to additional info. Once again thanks.

  • Camaro Vs. Mustang Vs. Firebird Vs. Other.?

    Hello all,

I am debating wither or not I should trade my current car (04 Hyundai Tiburon GT) for another car. If I should decide to do so, it won't be for a few months. I'm looking for a car that comes stock with a nice balance of speed and power, which all 3 below cars seem to have.

    The Models are as follows:

00-02 Pontiac Firebird Trans AM Coupe-----305Hp, 335 ft lb Tq V8

    00-02 Chevrolet Camero Z-28 Coupe---310Hp, 335 ft lb Tq V8

00-03 Ford Mustang GT Coupe-------260Hp, 302 ft lb Tq V8

One thing to keep in mind, the mustang has a mass amount of after market upgrades, many parts, and the lightest of the other two, needing less pull to get going. Not immediatly, I plan on adding a turbo/super which should make a mustang hit 375ish Hp, and idk on the others. All cars are V8's, I don't care much about gas mileage, might aswell get my kicks before everything hits hybrids. Also, if I could get ahold of a Mustang Cobra/Shelby I would just get it, but there a lil more pricey.

Normally, I would be wanting some imported V6 tuned up, but costs are a little more than I like. Example, my top 3 wanted cars are 1. Toyota Supra (96 TT), 2. Mitsubishi 3000Gt/Dodge Stealth (same thing 96 TT), 3. Nissan 300zx (96 Turbo). Yea, something about 96 went right. Anyway, the gt and 300zx run around 8k each, then its going to be about 15k to upgrade them to a nice running ability, supra's run around 15k then another 15k to get them show room status.

Mustang, 5-12k, plus 1k for a super charger, maybe new suspension for another grand or two.

The "other" in the title is up to whom ever. Please first vote for which of the 3, then if you have a suggestion you think would be better or same. Please keep all suggestions around 10k or less, as my trade in is only worth around $8200.

  • Trading in my Car (tuburon) for something "faster." Mustang or a step above?

    Hello,

Recently, for a few months now anyway I have been looking at some cars from ebay, autotrader, etc. I currently have a 2004 Hyundai Tiburon GT (silver) which i have no complaints other than its top speed/power. Going by Kelly Blue Book, my trade in value's around 8.2k ($8200) and I am strongly thinking of trading for something with better performance.

Some Info on my car so its clear what would be better:

2,656 cc 2.7 liters V 6 front engine with 86.7 mm bore, 75 mm stroke, 10 compression ratio, double overhead cam and four valves per cylinder

    -

    Unleaded fuel 87

    -

Fuel economy EPA highway (mpg): 26 and EPA city (mpg): 20

    -

    Multi-point injection fuel system

    -

14.5 gallon main unleaded fuel tank

    -

    Power: 128 kW , 172 HP SAE @ 6,000 rpm; 181 ft lb , 245 Nm @ 4,000 rpm

Its really not impressive, it goes 0-60 in around 8.7 seconds and a quarter mile in about 18-19 seconds.

I really hate thinking of trading this car because it was my first, and as I stated it never gave me any mechanical problems. I just desire something with a little more kick (yea, i'm 19 plz no "you'll end up killing yourself's" That would be fine.).

I have noticed a 98-04 mustang GT would fit my interests, stock running about 150 mph.

Ok, question time (numbered for simplisity's sake):

Please keep in mind, keep the cars price around my trade in value (no more than 2-2.5k off). And nothing with a requirement of parts aka Tubo, Super Charger, Headers, Piston Rings.

    1. What car (if not mustang) would have a higher speed and torque? (140ish top speed and a small amount of time to get there)

    2. Whats the odds of getting a used mustang GT 01-04 for about $10,000 (good/excelent condition)?

    3. For mustang owners, whats the 0-60 time, and quarter mile time/speed (estamates accepted).

    4. For a hyundai tiburon 04GT, & 25k miles, does $8200 sound fare? If you think it should be lower don't answer this specific question^^.

    5. Before I looked around mustangs, i was looking at a few 1996's, including the mitsubish 3000gt, dodge stealth, nissan 300zx, mazda rx-7, and a few others. These would be a little to old and too much trouble to deal with correct? Plus there actual japanese sport cars (starting price was about 50k ea).

    6. Am I stupid for thinking of changeing cars?

    7. Can you provide top speeds, 1/4 mile times, etc for any car (you) suggest?

Chances of pulling a Mustang Cobra are literally 0, so just a GT (with some extreme luck maybe a 04 mach 1.)

Also, as for location, I live in WV, or the Moutain State, and the moutains make it difficult for my tiny torque'd car to move. Its FWD does help out on icy roads though....But I don't travel too often.

  • Shaving Head Vs. Thinning Hair?

Well, this may be kind of an awkward question (for my part anyway), but here goes. For some time now, probably a year and a half (give or take) my hair has been thinning. It has got just about to the point where something must be done, as I have been hiding it rather well (I assume).

I have never had my head shaved, closest to that would be the day I was born. For literally all of my life, I have either had spikes (Got2BGlued style) and longer combed back hair. So I'm rather worried what I may look like (lumpy, oddly shaped, etc). My father, and older brother have both tried Rogain (spelling?) with little to no help, so it just seems like that would be a few hundred down the drain. The surgery stuff...expensive, wig?....I'm 19...only if I feel like going rocker (69 eyes). Really, what options are available that won't end up costing $500+ with only a chance of success.

    As for my descriptionn:

6 Ft 0-3 in (depending on the measuring tool)

    200lb, work out a little

    Dark Brown hair (for now)

    Brown Eyes

    Standard Gotee

    Common Dress:

T Shirt w/Cargo Pants or Blue/black jeans. Sometimes button shirts, but not to often.

Black/White Standard Street shoes, maybe skaters?

    Socks....

No glasses or anything, sometimes a Heartagram neclace.

I really don't know the what info should be provided, but I hope that works.

  • Dodge Stealth / Mitsubishi 3000gt Performance Parts?

    Hello all,

Once again I'm stumped. I have future plans to buy either a Stealth or a GT (Turbo only). I want this for a more or less show off car, with a lot of speed possibilities. There's actually 2 parts to this question, so here goes:

    1. First, the GT and Stealth are EXACTLY THE SAME! (except the gt's frame is nicer, and rarer), so keep that in mind. What parts would be put in either car to make it perform better? Also please if at all possible provide prices of each part (not required). Include whether or not the FWD or AWD model would be better, I think the turbo comes with AWD, but I'm not 100% sure. The turbo comes stock with about 320 HP, and over 300 lb torque.

    2. Next, would the gt/stealth be the best option over (if choice is "other" provide parts and prices aswell):

    Nissan 300zx

    Toyota MR 2

    1996 Corvette (I don't really like it)

Maybe a 2002 Camero SS (sp issues probably)

    Mazda RX-7 (older model)

*Feel Free to Provide an under 10k Car with over 300hp to list*

These cars other than the Camero are all under 10k, so thats why I like them. This is going to be a 2nd car, first being a FWD 04 Hyundai Tiburon GT, which was looks over performance (no real complaints).

  • Pokemon Diamond Team Help. Needing SP. Attacker's (transferring to Platinum)?

Hello, I've recently been building a pokemon team on diamond (non legend) that I will transfer to Platinum when its released. I'm EV training all of them, but here's my lineup sofar.

    Pokemon___Nature______Characteristics(duno if they help...)

Salamance: Naughty: Likes to Thrash About

    Tyranitar: Adamant: Likes to run

Dragonite: Naughty: Somewhat of a clown

Metagross: Adamant: Proud of its power

    Attacks of listed pokemon:

    Salamance:

    ~ Dragon Dance

    ~ Outrage

    ~ Earthquake

    ~ Fire Blast

    Tyranitar:

    ~ Stone Edge

    ~ Crunch

    ~ Pursuit

    ~ Aqua Tail / Earthquake

    Metagross:

    ~ Agility

    ~ Meteor Mash

    ~ Earthquake

~ ThunderPunch / Ice Punch / Explosion (Explosion prob)

    Dragonite(Great classic):

    ~ Outrage

    ~ Earthquake

    ~ Superpower / Fire Punch

    ~ Aqua Tail

I EV Trained them to max Attack and speed (random for the last 6 ev's). I also raised them from lvl 1 (only getting them to 55ish so its not to much of a cheat =P.

Ok, now that my current team is out of the way I can finally get to my question. As you can most likley see I have 4 of the BEST physical attackers around with nice movesets. I need to fill x2 more positions with some other pokemon, but I'm not sure what to use. I was originally thinking I should go with a full physical team, but i thought of to many flaws. The best thing I can think of is x2 sp. attackers or some kind of condition spreader. Sofar my ideas are a modest espion and glacion, or a magnezone. I would be happy with a fast gengar/alakazam but my friend to trade with was in a car accident so it may be some time before i can evolve.

I'm not saying only sp attack pokemon will be looked at, just say what you think would be good ^^.

    Thanks to all posters,

    ~Mortaltirant~

P.S. Please add in natures and movesets to suggestions.
