For me.. it's "Take It Easy".. by both The Eagles and Travis Tritt.

I'll hear it and I'm flooded with memories from one point in time.. wishing I could go back.

I mean, I have nothing against different races.

I just like some more than others.. and some are just so obnoxious.

I also don't like doing certain races.

Or even thinking about them!!

For example. I'm running a 5k tomorrow, but I'd much rather run the 1k.

Mine was jump a horse and then somehow ending up riding his neck while he was bucking. Stayed on.. like a boss.

LQ: How was your last ride?

Mine was.. interesting. Tried out a new horse who practically jumps like a frog. He stops right before the jump, and THEN goes. So weird. I ended up landing and riding on his neck at one point. I felt awful about it, but it's whatever. Stayed on his neck while he was bucking... like a boss :)

I'm really wanting to get into modeling.

Several of my friends have told me that I should and a company even asked me to model for them one time.

So, Do ya'll think I'd be fit for a modeling career? Not even a career, maybe just something on the side.

A few years back.. A company asked me to be a model for them. At the time.. I had no interest what so ever. Not to mention my mom found modeling very cruel.

Now that I'm older.. I've decided that I'd really like to try to get into modeling.

Alrighty, well, here is some basic info. (no, this is definitely not an ad to sell my horse on here. I just need some help on how to word it and what not:)

I am wanting to sell my horse Grover. I am progressing too quickly in my riding for him. As much as I'd love to keep him, I don't think he is right for me. He is way too green right now. It's not that I can't ride him and work with him, it's more of I want to go to horse shows now. Not however long later.

I have been training him for the past 10 months and he is doing very well!! I jumped him 3ft the other day for the first time and he did amazing. Only problem being.. I had my trainer come out and take a look at him. My trainer said that he is jumping out of pain. (Grover is an OTTB. He had a pulled suspensory ligament from when he was about 4 that never quite healed, but hasn't really effected him) That Grover just wants to please me but is hurting himself every time he jumps above 2'3ish. I felt awful. So, I've made a very hard decision.. I am going to sell him as a flat horse or someone who wants a project horse.

Anyways,, thats the story. Now that you've got that.. here is my real question :)

I have NO idea how I'm going to sell him. I'm trying to sell him online and put up local ads, but I have no clue what to put and describe him as.. I was thinking maybe ya'll could help me out :)

Markings: Snip and front quarter sock

He is a very willing horse, and a very nice jumper. Blind in one eye, however, it does not effect him at all and it never will. Easy keeper. No vices and stands well for the farrier. No bite or kick. A little uphill conformation wise, but not bad. Great with other horses out in pasture or alone. Stands still in the cross ties. Has nice, flowy gaits. Especially at the trot.

Okay, So my boyfriend ,Brandon, and I have been having a slight disagreement for a long while. He always calls me "perfect" and "beautiful" and what not. I always disagree because it is such a lie. I'm the ugliest person I know. Too pale, I have weird teeth, I have fat thighs, I have no talent. The list goes on and on.

Alrighty, so, here's the deal. I have my "first" horse show this Saturday. (First is in quotations for a reason. Long story short, all of my planned shoes have been canceled for the last year)

I was in a lesson the other night and got a few pictures. I was wondering if you guys wouldn't mind critiquing one of them? Just letting me know what I could work on before the show :)

This is for a hunter over fences class. Only jumping 2'3ish, so nothing big.

Alright, so I'm no "newbie" to riding. Just putting that out there.

Anyways, I was looking through some pictures that my dad took of my riding lesson the other night and saw in all of the pictures, my heel was reallllyy down. Is it possible to have your heels too far down where it just looks unnatural? Or, is it good to have your heels like this?

Soooo, as stated above.. I need a show name for Grover. I will be having my first show on the 29th (SO excited!!)

He is a 16.3hh Bay OTTB, 7 years old. We will be doing hunt seat equitation on the flat and over fences.

I'd really like the name to have something to do with "Grover" or jumping. Any ideas? I'm completely brain dead besides one name which is "Range Grover". You guys all know the car Range Rover, right? :) I'm also thinking Mr.Man. But I'm so clueless. Haha, Thanks :D

So, I am having some difficulty on what style and color of dress I should buy for home coming. I'm not usually into the whole style and dress thing, but I finally have a boyfriend :) In other words, someone to impress.

Some basic info about my body shape and what not:

-Strawberry blonde hair

-Fair skinned with many freckles

-On the skinnier side

-5'1

-Have a small waist line and bust

-Smaller than normal bottom

-Not girly by any means. But, in this case. I am willing to try something different

-Mostly straight hair (when straightened)

Horse question :)

Having trouble with putting my feet back in the stirrups when I loose them. As in, when I have to pick my stirrups back up, I have SO much difficulty turning my toes in to get them. Is there any exercises or stretches to do to help this?

LQ: Any good news for you lately? How was your ride today or day at the barn?

Okay. Good news and bad news leading up to a question.

Good news: My instructor/trainer who owns Grover is going to sell him to me, even considering giving him to me! :D She told me that I could probably take better care of him than she could. This is because she has just had a son. Let's say his name is "Billy". The doctors say that Billy may have down syndrome.. :/ as some of you may or may not know, dealing with ds as a parent is costly. Almost more costly than horse management.

Over all, good thing that comes out of it is that I get my dream horse.. Grover. The one who I constantly talk about, the one who I love SO much. My dream.

Bad news: Grover isn't doing so well at the moment. My instructor has already spent over $1000 on vet bills. What is wrong with him you may ask? Well, the vet says that it looks like he may have fungus in his left eye. Worse.. he will most likely have to get it removed. :( He also has "other" health problems. My instructor hasn't yet told me them though.. My instructor also said that Grover wouldn't do very well in the show ring..

My question(s):

Would Grover loosing an eye affect his jumping ability? I have heard of many great jumping horses that have lost an eye or so..

Would judges at shows look down on this?

Should I risk getting my dream horse for a little health issues with his eye, or should I just forget about him and move on? :(

I am currently in the market for a horse. With that being said, my parents gave my a budget. $2000 or less and must be in my area. We are finding this VERY difficult to follow. We have searched and searched and searched for the past month and a half and haven't yet found a suitable horse. So, I have two simple questions for you guys.. how much would YOU pay for a hunter horse? Nicely trained and sound? Annndddd, how far would you travel to see this horse or to purchase him?

I am not sure, because.. I went in for a lesson today and the owner of the barn was telling me that most people travel out of their state to find the horse that suits them perfectly. He also called $15,000 a steal though :\

So, I am most likely buying this horse on Thursday. He is GORGEOUS! 16.2hh, 5 years old, gelding, loves to jump and appaloosa :) My only problem is.. *drum roll* .. his name. I really hate it. So, my question is, what should I name "my" horse? His current name is AJ. For me, I personally don't like the name because of bad memories of someone named "AJ".

What crazy horse obsessed thing have you done today? ;D

I know at one point in our life (even now) that you have done something that proves your obsessed with horses. Like today, I have told my dog "whoa", braided my sisters ponytail like a horse's, and made my dog jump over "horse jumps" in the hallway.

I may be to in love with horses, but that sounds crazy. doesn't it? :)
