  • I believe there is no god. Read this if this intrigues you.?

Hello everyone, I was a pretty loyal Christian until a few years ago, when I thought over some of the logistical aspects of "God".

First and foremost, every religion believes their self to be the correct one, discrediting all others. In the Muslim bible, It states roughly "Allah is the only one and true god" and MANY people follow this blindly, but Christianity has similar beliefs. This means that since both of them can't possibly be right, it is VERY likely that neither of them are! This proves without any logical doubt, that religions are a complete guess, therefore it is extremely unlikely that we just happened to guess right about god's existence.

On a more personal note, has anyone ever noticed how there are always really convenient excuses to the questions that atheists such as myself ask? "If there is a God, why can't he just show himself and prove to the world he exists?" "Oh, the lord works in mysterious ways". Well isn't that convenient? frogmonster241@yahoo.com.

  • How do i lose a lot of weight, fast. Im only 14...?

Ok, look, i know this sounds really stupid and ridiculous, and you'll think most guys don't really care, but the truth is they do. I am only 14, a guy, and I'm slightly overweight. Not very, but just enough to be a bit self conscious about it. I'm in a garage band with a few friends of mine, and we have a gig in about a month. I really want to look good for it, Can anybody give me a way, preferably a HEALTHY way to fast for about 30 days, that will cause me to lose a lot of excess fat? Please, respond. Thanks a ton, sorry for the novel.

  • Can a green basilisk go with a red eared slider turtle?

I have a small green basilisk. I have had him for a while now and i just upgraded him to a bigger cage. The cage has about 3 inches of water, a lot of rocks for land, plenty for him to run and jump and bask all he wants,a powerhead that operates a waterfall to circulate water, some plants, real and fake, rocks, and a light, UV and heat. I also have A small, about 3 inch red eared slider turtle. I feel as if the basilisks tank needs more life, and I was wondering if there would be any problems in putting the two together. The size is relative, one is not insanely bigger then the other, and they are both healthy but young.

*and note, basilisks are real animals! i have posted previous questions regarding them and some dumbass people would post replies involving "a gryff's sword" or the "placement hat" or other harry potter related things. This is a REAL quetion and i would like REAL answers please!

  • Saltwater Tank oxygen distribution problems!!!?

I have an 8.8 gallon saltwater tank. I just recently discovered that the reason many of my bottom dwelling fish were dying is the fact that the oxygen distribution in the tank was not high enough, that is to say I did not have enough vertical water flow. I do have 11little water jets that are part of my filter that shoot water down, but the bubbles only go down about 3 inches or so, and the tank is roughly a foot high. I have put a little aquarium pump in there, and I know thats not ideal, but its all i have to work with. Anyone that knows anything about this, please give me the best advice you can, because I am eager to replace my fish, but I dont want them just dying again. Thanks guys.

  • Help with care for green basilisk.?

I have a green basilisk which i bought from a reptile show. He eats, he runs, he even hand feeds. Ive had him for over 3 months and ive never seen any problems. He, well I actually am not sure of "his" sex, appears to be completely healthy. The only thing is, i know they need a lot of space. He is only in a 10 gallon, but he is still a baby. Only about 4 1/2 inches from head to tail. He does have water deep enough to submerge too. Im more of wondering, is he like a goldfish, like if he isnt in a big tank will he not grow big? if he stays small even when old will this cause health issues? all of that. I have almost no space left, but i would be willing to make sacrifices if it meant keeping him alive. Anyway, just some pointers as to where to go with my green basilisk. Thanks!

  • How do you put corals and anemones into your tank?

I am a beginner to saltwater. I've grown bored with freshwater and so I moved over. I know a fair bit, and i already have a pretty succesful tank. It is a 9.1 gallon nano. I have about 5 pounds of live rock and a few fake corals in it. Along with 4 very happy and healthy fish. One royal gramma, one firefish, one scooter blenny, and one other fish that just came with the tank that im not sure the name of lol. My salinity is just fine, i bought a hydrometer to check it. Anyway, my question is, how do I put corals or anemones into my tank? Is this possible with a tank of my size? What anemones/corals can or will hurt my fish? Just all the basics on corals and anemones. Thanks.
