So basically, me and my best friend are super close. He has these cute nicknames for me and always compliments me, he has recently told me that he likes me as more than a friend, I told him I feel the same way. We went on one date, and then he told me he was hesitant to make us official, which I completely understand and respect. We are only 16 and we have all the time in the world.

But I'm super confused, because he says that he really likes me, but doesn't want us to be a "thing" because he wants us to meet other people ("not necessarily other significant others")

(Also, I'd like to add, we could totally be dating and still meet new friends because we live a few hours away from eachother.)

And he says he wants me to wait for him, and not find someone else.

Like dude, what am I waiting for?

I would like to buy a fishing rod (and reel) for my Dad's birthday. I don't want to order them from online.

The rod and reel have to be durable and I would like them to last a long time.

My dad is about 6 feet tall (I don't know if that helps). We usually go for trout, but we are hoping to go bigger.

I would like to know what rod to get him, preferably from Canadian Tire, Charlottetown, PE. Unless you know of a different place nearby.
