There's a friend I know for years, we hang out in the same group of people and our mutual friends often tells me we should date. Recently I started feeling attraction to him. But I dont know how he feels. Would it be better if I ask him directly, or through the mutual friends? I need the men's perspective here.

Is it a bad idea to ask him out on the valentine's day ? I am not planning anything overboard. Just casual date.

Nothing is working in my life. My friends are all happily married, are managing teams, have 1-2 children each. My career is not going anywhere. I have a job and salary is not bad. But I am not able to advance in career. My personal life was just broken relationships and a divorce. I feel like a failure. More than that, I feel like I got all rotten inside. I am not able to feel happy for my friends now when good things happen to them. I think I even feel a bit cheered hearing of bad things in others life. How to become a better person at heart in spite of the setbacks ?

Why do Christians oppose theory of evolution so vehemently ? Has Christ said anything against it ? In fact , has Christ himself ever mentioned Adam or Eve or Genesis (excluding any interpretations by others) ? I am genuinely interested in knowing the reason. Other religions also believe in God the creator, but they dont oppose theory of evolution. So I have always wondered why christians see it as a big deal.
