There was once this cartoon (I think I saw it something like 5-8 years ago) it was about a boy that somehow went along with a witch (I remember her hut looked very small but inside it was like a huge castle) So the witch told something to that boy, he refused and she turned him into something like quazimodo with a huge nose.

Also i remember that:

* there was a girl turned into goose too and she travelled with that boy

* the boy had some magical shoes that could make him super fast

* after that boy returned from witches castle, he found out that 7 years had been gone and his father was already dead

* In the end it had something to do with dandelion

A long time ago (I guess like 12 or more years ago) I watched cartoon series, (it wasn't anime for sure). It took place in medieval era and it was like about knights and princesses etc. And the main character was a brown rat (he was a knight I guess because I remember him holding a sword). I even remember a scene when (oh forgot to mention it, all the characters were animals) they were defending a huge wall from enemies.

So what i remember is that it was about black people living in America. I recall a moment when elder brother left his younger brother night at home alone and he himself went to the party. Younger sibling decided to sneak out of home and I guess he wanted to go to the party too, but as soon as he came out a car appeared and he was shot. And there was this sad moment when his mother cried and his brother felt guilty. Oh and the movie isn't old, nor is it new though.

So a long time ago I saw a movie that was about one american boy that (i don't remember how) became a slave in Japan, if I'm not wrong it was the 2nd World War. That boy had to struggle there with hunger and brutality of soldiers. I remember he even learned japanese .

I want to watch that movie one more time so I'd like to know the title!

Can anyone recommend some very good detective movies based on this:

- better with criminal cases

- something that isn't old (hate old movies) I mean something from 21th century

- don't recommend Sherlock or Sherlock Holmes, I've seen them thousand times

It's still airing, but I wan't to ask if anyone knows if it will have 2nd season? if there are some rumors I'm fine with them too.
