Does anyone remember this cartoon ?

A long time ago (I guess like 12 or more years ago) I watched cartoon series, (it wasn't anime for sure). It took place in medieval era and it was like about knights and princesses etc. And the main character was a brown rat (he was a knight I guess because I remember him holding a sword). I even remember a scene when (oh forgot to mention it, all the characters were animals) they were defending a huge wall from enemies.

Could it have been "Redwall"? That wasn't about knights and princesses exactly, but it's animated, all the characters are animals, and there is a part where thy are defending a large wall from enemies. Was one of the characters a rather fierce badger? If so, it was probably "Redwall".
