My friend, age 69, has hi BP, of which he takes meds (recent develop't). He just got back fm an active trip (via plane) fm CA, and his BP is way up, and the meds aren't helping. He also has a very low heart rate. Like just 50 which is not his norm. Does anyone have any insight into this strange occurrence?

We just got a little kitty (Egyptian Mau) and he is 7 weeks old. He was weaned by the breeder at 5 weeks old, which seems a bit soon to me but o well. Since he got here, he's been eating 1 whole (small) can a day! Seems like a lot! Too much? Anyway, when we picked him up at the breeders, we all noticed his rectum was poking out just a bit. None of us said anything and didn't know if that was just how the breed was. But now it's getting worse, poking out a lot. Called the vet, and he said to 1/2 t mineral oil, q 12/hr, and prep H and "push it back in". (!) So, my question is: how do I stop this fm happening again?

Why is it that when I make apple sauce out of organic apples, they dissolve pretty quickly, but when I tried doing it with regular (non org) apples, they STAYED in cubes! no matter how long i boiled! Is that normal? Is it just the type of apple? Or is it maybe cause it has been genetically modified?

Never more than that, that is the extent of it. I used to think it was his way of saying he loved me, but now...I'm not so sure. I'm feeling duped, after 4 yrs of heaing that, maybe 3x...? And only under...duress.

My sister is having trouble paying her credit cards off. Her bank acct is in MA and she lives in NC. It is a different credit card co, than her bank account.

I heard a retiree in NYC had his bank account (social security payments) frozen due to bad credit card debt. They say this is illegal but it was still done.
